Nama Sushi Bar & Restaurant Reviews
We went for happy hour and enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. We ordered from both the happy hour menu and regular menu. HH prices are $8 vs $12 for similar rolls, with 6 pieces vs 8 for the signature rolls. The crispy shrimp and tuna-avocado rolls were favorites from the HH menu. The Candy Cane roll was excellent (reg menu). Nice experience and service with a smile.
Mar 28, 2024 · Mark TelericoIf you're a sushi lover looking for a great spot to satisfy your cravings in the Mount Vernon area, Nama Sushi Bar & Restaurant is the place to go! I recently visited this restaurant and was blown away by the quality of their food and the reasonable prices.First off, the sake was fantastic - perfectly chilled and served fresh from the bottle. The miso soup was also a standout dish, with a rich, savory broth that was the perfect starter to my meal.Next up, the edamame was cooked to perfection - not too soft, not too hard - and seasoned with just the right amount of salt. And the sushi! Wow. The rolls were expertly crafted, with fresh, high-quality fish and perfectly cooked rice. I especially loved the spicy tuna roll. But what really stood out to me about Nama was the value. With so many sushi restaurants charging exorbitant prices, it was refreshing to find a spot where I could enjoy such great food without breaking the bank.Overall, I highly recommend Nama Sushi Bar to anyone looking for a delicious, affordable sushi experience. You won't be disappointed!
Apr 21, 2023 · Elias Chelala (Chewy)Wow. We received a recommendation from a friend to try this place out and I’m so glad we did. The sushi was so amazing and so fresh. we got several rolls and ate every single piece!! The service was awesome and the ambience was great. The drinks were also very delicious. I can’t wait to go back!
Dec 26, 2021 · Rachel LThis place has nice presentation and vibe. It would be nice to sit here at night to chat with friends. However the food was very disappointing for its price point. We got three rolls but it already put us over $50. The quality is similar to other restaurants that are half the price. The rolls were not terrible but nothing super special. Unfortunately I was expecting a lot more when walking in because the restaurant seems really nice.
Aug 16, 2024 · Alice R.Wanted to find a relaxed sushi bar while on business travel. Landed on Nama Sushi Bar and was pleasantly surprised. The chef's special sashimi and nigiri platter had a selection of some of the tastiest sushi I have ever tried. I cannot recommend this establishment enough for the quality of food, service, and atmosphere.
