Sake House Miro

809 S La Brea Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90036, USA

4.0
We fancied some sushi and my friend had already been here before and liked it. We were thoughtfully given a table inside and proceeded to browse through the huge menu. Even the sushi menu was big and informative. So many choices, so many temptations. My Dragon Roll was a satisfying combination of smooth and slightly crispy textures, savoury and slightly sweet flavours. The Blue Crab Roll also contained avocado, cucumber, and a dash of mayo - still really good but pipped at the post by the Dragon Roll. My friend enjoyed her Spicy Tuna Roll and the assorted sushi pieces.Service was thoughtful when available but a little patchy. The woody decor transported us to a little part of Japan, cozy and functional. The overall experience was positive and aligned with the good ratings here. - J L
