Sake No Hana

Japanese restaurant, Sushi restaurant ★4.0 (155)·$100+

145 Bowery, New York, NY 10002, USA

4.0
Came for a dinner - food really wasn’t all that great in my opinion and my friend thought the same. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying it’s bad, but for the price you’re paying, I expected better flavors and textures. Presentation and vibes were great though. I probably wouldn’t come back.🥩 Short-Rib Yakemeshi: Maybe I’m just a hater but this plate was a bit too heavy. The carrots did not mesh well with the dish and the whole bowl just felt mushy not enjoyable to eat.🍣 Sashimi: Got a few pieces of sashimi and we thought they were all okay. Nothing really special.🍝 Shonan Pasta: Not as heavy as the rib-eye dish but honestly nothing really to note here. Noodles were cooked well. Flavors were present but nothing really stood out. - Cheok Meng Law
