Sapporo East Reviews
Both the food and service were average. After reading numerous positive reviews about this place, I decided to give it a try, but unfortunately, both aspects fell below expectations. I arrived an hour before closing, yet it felt like the staff was rushing to get me out. The quality of the rolls was comparable to grocery store sushi, and the raw fish didn’t taste fresh. While this spot might be considered decent for the area, it’s certainly not the best sushi I’ve had.
November 01 · Morteza KhanikiExceptional Sushi Experience at Sapporo East - A True Gem!I can't speak highly enough of Sapporo East Sushi Restaurant - it has become a weekly ritual for my fiance and me, and sometimes we can't resist stopping by more often! From the moment we walk in, we are greeted by the amazing staff who make every visit memorable. In particular, the servers Ferry and Diane are simply outstanding - they have gone above and beyond to make us feel like part of the Sapporo family, always remembering our names and treating us with the utmost care and attention. What truly sets Sapporo East apart is their exceptional sushi quality and inventive rolls. My fiance, who was never a sushi fan before, is now a convert thanks to the incredibly fresh fish and delicious rolls served here. Among our favorite sushi rolls that I highly recommend are the White Sand, Ray's Roll, and the Black Pearl - each one bursting with unique flavors that keep us coming back for more.Every bite is a burst of flavor, and we always leave feeling completely satisfied. We have even made Sapporo East our go-to spot for double dates with friends, as the inviting atmosphere and top-notch service never disappoint. If you're looking for a sushi experience that exceeds expectations, look no further than Sapporo East. We give it five stars without hesitation - this place is a true gem that deserves all the praise it gets!
January 20 · Nicholas CouchLove this place!! We order takeout regularly, but have dined in before too. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, even with our baby! They take pride in making sure you leave happy; they recently gave us a salad for free because our takeout order took a while on a particularly busy night, but we hadn’t even complained. They just go out of their way to give you a positive experience. Their sushi is great, plus they even will accept coupons on takeout which is a nice bonus.
February 19 · JThe BEST sushi in the area! 🍣 Food is delicious, service was EXTREMELY fast, and the workers are very kind! I would 100% recommend going here if you want super good sushi♥️
January 16 · Dakota NguyenCan't say enough good things about them. Despite being in Harrisburg , they'd be competitive in NYC or Philly. Prices are lower than much worse places. Fish is always fresh. Lots of good rolls, try the orange dragon, snow mountain, black pearl, etc. They also keep uni in stock frequently. It is BYOB, which I figure saves me money. My only wish for them is that they would do regular specials of other more exotic fish or rolls.
