Sazan Reviews
I went alone and sat at the bar. Spent twice as much as I was expected but got exactly what I wanted. Incredibly fresh and delicious fish, the most authentic Japanese I have ever had. Incredible quality and care into every bite. Learning the whole time about what I should dip in soy sauce. Definitely a unique experience and relaxing atmosphere I had the place to myself on a Wednesday.
Jan 16, 2025 · Alexander angeloffThis is the place if you want authentic, high quality, Japanese food. The small dishes on the separate menu are really delightful.Prices reflect food quality. Be prepared to pay for the best all around Japanese food in the area. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. They run it like fine dining, not like a casual sushi bar. So they have strict rules around noise, noisy kids, and cell phones. Don't expect to bring your kid and set him up with an ipad with the volume on. Seems reasonable. No outside food, no exceptions. Seems reasonable. The servers were polite, no issues in this department.A real gem of a restaurant.
Feb 22, 2025 · Barry LinderFirst time and upon entering i saw a family get rejected because they had a service dog. Also, no children under 6 allowed..very strange. Onto the meal…The appetizers were nothing special. Had the tempura shrimp, fried squid and mixed seafood w/ soybean sauce. I found the squid and octupus hard and chewy. The sushi and sashimi combos on the other hand were very good and the fish was fresh. It was a bit pricy but the overall good quality.
Sep 17, 2023 · Oscar FilipeFood is very good. But the waitress/hostess is very rude and arrogant. She always gets the order incorrect as well. Then gets mad at customer. I’ve seen this same review by others saying same thing about this women and the owner should do something about it. It just isn’t necessary to have rude servers at such a great restaurant. I also witness her telling people they are closed at 1:30 for lunch when the owner is not there. I will not spend more money for terrible attitude from waitress any longer. I don’t think other will either.
Oct 04, 2023 · Foodie EatsAbsolutely the best sushi and most authentic Japanese food in all of Westchester. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. The quality of the fish is always top-notch, fresh, and flavorful. You can tell the chefs take great pride in their craft, as every dish is presented beautifully and tastes incredible. The service is equally fantastic—attentive, friendly, and always welcoming. Whether you're a sushi lover or just looking to try something new, this place is a must-visit
