May 10, 2025 · Q KSmall quaint restaurant that was crowded so had to wait 15mins to be seated. Service was prompt and the server was attentive and friendly. Had the garlic ginger edamame and the fried chicken rice bowl. Needed some additional seasoning and spice but overall was a good meal. The plum wine was perfectly sweet with the actual plum in the glass as an added treat.
Jan 25, 2025 · Sandra AMy recent visit to SOBOKU was a delightful journey through a fusion of traditional and modern Japanese flavors. The Crab Cream Korokke was a perfect start, with its crispy exterior and creamy crab meat filling, complemented by a tangy Japanese tartar sauce. The Spicy Tuna Taco was another highlight. The Sesame Cucumber was refreshingly simple. The Kurobuta Katsu Kare was exceptional, featuring a juicy Berkshire pork loin cutlet with a rich and flavorful curry sauce that was comforting and satisfying. The Miso Ramen, with its robust broth, tender Chashu pork, and perfectly cooked marinated egg, was a bowl full of umami goodness. To wash it all down, the Japanese Sodas in Peach and Lychee were sweet and refreshing. Every dish at SOBOKU was prepared with care, and the flavors were balanced perfectly. The ambiance was cozy, making it a great spot for a casual meal or a special occasion.
Dec 25, 2024 · Bella Lusoboku is now one of my fav spots to get japanese comfort food. i specifically came for their curry dishes and they did not disappoint. we tried the ebi karē (shrimp tempura) and we LOVED it. the curry was so good that we even dipped our katsu burger in it. the shishito peppers came with a yuzu salt that was super addicting. we also really loved the spicy tuna tacos - the gyoza skin was so light and crispy, and the tuna was perfect. i highly recommend visiting this spot cuz i already can't wait to go here again!
Oct 14, 2024 · Eliana LontokTried the Pork Kimchi Don and Fried Mackerel, which were both great. The meal was well-balanced and tasty. We were seated immediately, though the space is a bit small, so maybe we got lucky with timing. Would recommend for a quick, satisfying meal.
