Sushi Ato Reviews
I would give this place a 4.5. the food is AMAZING for Colorado (or slightly above average in SoCal) I could tell the quality and freshness of the fish were very good, the ratio of rice and fish was also spot on, each roll balancing the delicate amount of crunch from various vegetables and the softness of the fish and rice. All the components in the rolls we had went well with each other. I have been here multiple times and the quality has been very consistent. only complaint is that there are sometimes a strong smell of cleaning solution in the restaurant that is not pleasant. Other than that its pretty great.
Apr 10, 2025 · Makai YeeI took my son to this restaurant for dinner, and I found the atmosphere to be very open and casual. The large window gave a lovely view of the highway and mountains, which enhanced the overall vibe of the place. We started with the appetizer, Shrimp Shumai (fried), which came with a dipping sauce. The shumai was fried to perfection, giving it a delightful crunch, and we absolutely loved it!For our entrees, we ordered:1. **Tempura Udon** - This dish came in a medium bowl with two pieces of shrimp and one onion ring. I was a bit confused because the menu stated "two shrimp tempura and vegetable tempura." I assumed the vegetable would be an assortment, so it would have been helpful if the menu had specified that the vegetable was just an onion ring.2. **Smooth Heat Roll** - This roll included shrimp tempura, cream cheese, and spicy tuna, topped with fresh salmon and avocado. Although the menu mentioned it would be drizzled with unagi sauce, our roll did not come with it. I was disappointed because I love unagi sauce, but the roll was still delicious, so I enjoyed it without the sauce.3. **Nigiri** - We ordered Tuna Toro (fatty tuna), unagi, and yellowtail. The menu indicated there would be two pieces per order, but I only received one piece of yellowtail. While this was disappointing, I set that aside because the fish tasted incredibly fresh and delicious.Despite some issues with the order, the overall quality of the food was great, and the fish was fresh, so I gave them five stars. As a bonus, our server, Dylan, did an excellent job. He was friendly, kind, and attentive.Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for good sushi!
Mar 27, 2025 · Elisabeth LieWent for our anniversary and it was fantastic. Beautifully plated sashimi. The waitress was so kind. Everything tasted great! The only thing I would change is the fact that the storage for supplies is in front of the food prep station on the floor in clear view. Its messy and cluttered looking and it doesn't match the rest of the atmosphere. We will be back for sure. The green tea was so good, you can taste the toasted barley in it and I was a huge fan of that. My husband got the sashimi combo and I got the shoyu ramen (hold the fish cake).
May 22, 2025 · StarsAligned zWe had dinner outside with my dog! The view was great! We got hot sake, miso soup, 3 rolls and nigiri... all was very good. Our server was very friendly!
May 16, 2025 · Raina Moreau-SappWent for the Takoyaki. The bar was set pretty high at $9 for 4. We were rather disappointed with this item. The cooking style was to be expected being the more common deep fried variety. The average amount of octopus seemed to be overcooked and chewy. The filling had plenty of flavor with what appeared to be green onions but was also a little overdone and felt almost more like a well done pancake than Takoyaki. The outside was very crispy. The Takoyaki was served with a huge amount of sauce and mayo with lots of bonito flakes. Overall, this is average Takoyaki and is probably around a 5-6/10. The best part was the definitely the flavor of the filling and presentation. We probably won't get these again. At this price level, I would expect greater attention to the products preparation. We also got the shoyu ramen. The ramen was pretty good. Maybe missing a little flavor but overall was probably worth the $15.Service wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. We came when it was very busy so it's somewhat expected. We have gotten sushi here, I would probably only return here for the sushi and skip some of the other items. They do a good job with their sushi.
