Sushi Huku Japanese Restaurant Reviews
Unbeatable sushi—totally worth it!I had the salmon sashimi, bluefin tuna, salmon sushi, and the salmon super crunch, and everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The quality blew me away—honestly better than any sushi I’ve had in Atlanta. What really impressed me is that the taste and quality far exceeded the price. It’s rare to find sushi this good at such a reasonable cost. The cozy sushi bar atmosphere and friendly service made the experience even better. Paired it all with a cold Asahi, and it was perfect. Can’t recommend this place enough!
May 18 · Ubol PClassic Japanese restaurant. The fish quality is on par with the very expensive restaurants in town. This is just a no frills really solid sushi spot.We typically order the fried octopus appetizer and 21 pieces of Sashimi. We get out the door for around $100.I'd be willing to bet they have the same fish suppliers as Umai and Eight.Service is generally quick and the service is good.
March 22 · Wes BaileyThis was my first experience at Sushi Huku Japanese Restaurant, and the atmosphere was great. I ordered the Dragon Roll, and it was delicious. I also tried the citrus iced tea, which had a unique flavor, but I liked it. The Dragon Roll comes with eel sauce drizzled on top, which was the perfect amount to complement the tasty roll. The music they played was great too, at just the right volume. I definitely recommend giving this place a try!
December 29 · Zye’Kee PruittI have been here multiple times over the years but I won't be back after my most recent experience.I have some excellent sushi spots in Atlanta, but they are expensive and I wanted to go somewhere that had good sushi but would not cost an arm and a leg. Sushi Huku apparently is not that place. There were 5 of us and we each had an appetizer and sushi rolls. There were 2 glasses of wine. Our bill was over $400.I would not be as turned off by the price if everyone enjoyed their meals but my wife never got one of her rolls and when she mentioned it to the waiter to told her it had come out already and did not offer to get her a roll. If it had come out, it looked nothing like what she thought she ordered. Also, the crab was not edible and went untouched. The sushi itself was not bad at all. But it wasn't worth the money. This place has been around a long time, in an area with not a lot of selection for sushi. It's old Atlanta and probably why it's lasted so long. Now, there are many better options.
April 20 · Aaron PThis is a hidden gem!! The sushi is so fresh with a pretty good selection. We were in on a Monday evening and the only ones there. Should be packed with how good it is! Left to right: Baled Salmon, New Paige, and Geisha
