Sushi-san Reviews
Great spots for dinner in the city! The vibes were good and restaurant was quite busy. Would recommend ordering the specialty nigiris! The tuna crispy rice was also fantastic and would recommend that as well. The beef rice dish was also very good. The rolls were mediocre so would not recommend those. Would recommend this spot for a large group of friends or date night. Get the nigiris!
May 18, 2025 · Megan WaiWe were craving Asian food, and after checking out a few places and their reviews, we decided on Sushi San--and it was the best decision! Everything we tried was delicious! The sushi was okay, but the Tuna Fried Rice Bites--WOW--and the BEEF 'N BOP were amazing too. For dessert, we picked two to try: the Okinawa Sugar Pie, which was VERY sweet but tasty, and the Nama Chocolate, which I loved! The contrast of the chocolate with the sea salt was divine.
Mar 29, 2025 · Veronica VisoWe have our usual sushi spot at home, this would be our go to if we lived in Chicago. Place is lively and energetic. We sat at the sushi bar and watching them prepare everything was a treat. Our waitress gave great recommendations from food to drink. Everything we had was incredibly fresh and delicious. Unagi Don was incredible, D-Luxe Nigiri, Waygu tartar, and Uni, get them all! Enjoy!!
Jun 02, 2025 · Steven WojtowiczThe food was so good, the drinks were great, and the service was lovely. I was overall impressed with the food.We were there on 02/15, we made a reservation and we still had to wait though. That was a little annoying but once we sat it was great. We got a few rolls, some dumplings, and sashimi. I got a banana cold foam coffee liquor drink. My partner got a cocktail that came in a To go box, very cool.
Mar 01, 2025 · Natasha Al-RafieI enjoyed it here as always. Nice vibe! FRESH SUSHI! and I did a tasting of Japanese whisky which was awesome. It wasn’t free but I would have never tried it on my own. From left to right I had the Lobster Roll; spicy tuna roll, and the spicy scallop roll.
