Sushi Yu Reviews
Very good sushi and reasonably priced. I used to order from here very frequently for lunch; the maki combo lunch specials are very reasonably priced and fill you up. They have an extensive menu of speciality rolls which is nice and that’s what we tried tonight. Very delicious. The manager, Tony, is amazing 👍🏼 If you’re not in the mood for raw fish there’s plenty of other options to choose from on the menu like hibachi bento boxes and fried rice. Highly recommend Sushi Yu for a low-key Japanese meal 👍🏼⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
May 04, 2024 · LIEMI adore this spot! Ever since I relocated to this neighborhood two years ago, I've exclusively been getting sushi from here. They offer the finest sushi, and the owner and staff are amazing! They are always incredibly kind, and the food is scrumptious and reasonably priced, plus the portions are generous. On my recent visit, they surprised us with complimentary ice cream and sang happy birthday even though we didn't ask for anything extra (thank you, Tony!). Super grateful for them!
Aug 14, 2023 · Fayel MustafizThe food is terrific, with lots of variety across dishes, all of which are fresh and tasty. The specialty rolls are especially good, though don't sleep on the simply things like peanut avocado rolls. The staff and owners are warm and friendly, making it a real neighborhood staple. Eating in is always a beautiful spread, and carryout is always quick and well-packed. I've been going for nine years now and have never had a bad experience.
Jan 29, 2025 · Andy RossLet me start with the fact that the food here is good. My rating is referring more about their service and how they treat their customers.I went there to get takeout for lunch special. I was the first and only customer when I came in. BUT I had to wait 30 minutes for them to prepare my order. While I was waiting I couldnt even ask anyone how long the order will take. Because the manager disappeared behind the curtain. When I finally got my order (after 30 minutes waiting), I asked why did it take so long. And their manager just yelled at me very rudely “Because of the miso soup! We had to make it!” And ran away before I could even say anything. If they had given me heads up that the soup will take awhile, I could’ve just not order it. But nothing. So this experience definitely left a negative impression about their service.Just a heads up - go there for food, but expect long wait times and very rude staff.
May 01, 2025 · Zhana SmagulovaNo doubt that the food that we have is good… The chicken teriyaki… The side salad… The brown rice… What we found shocking was the four small little thin sliced pieces of eggplant for seven dollars! What a rip it upset us the most… We open up the package after Home delivery… It turned us off to tell you the truth… We can get good food just about anywhere right? They’re very few places that survive… But there are places that don’t survive because of high prices… I don’t care what anyone says… Eggplant is not expensive!
