TABERU NOMU Reviews
Had the Yonaha Maehama donburi—seafood quality was definitely better than what you'd get from sushi delivery. Rice had a nice toothy bite, well done. Great add-on options. It’s a good spot for a quick bite, easy in and out. The space is extremely tight, as it used to be a narrow alleyway between two buildings, so don’t expect to linger.
Apr 21, 2025 · Marie UI made a reservation online through google and it was a breeze! Upon arrival, I saw the atmosphere and was very nice, loved it. The only thing I probably didn’t like is the bathroom which was connected to the next door apartment building. The food is great, very fresh and different which I like. Great spot for a date and would def come again!
Feb 25, 2025 · Ben HuaGreat food at a fair price. We got lucky and we're able to walk in on a Friday night. Non-descript and unassuming, this place offers simple rice bowls with quality fish on top. You can't go wrong with any of the bowls. We also ordered the octopus and pickles, which made for simple, yet delicious sides.
Mar 02, 2025 · A ShenTldr, very high quality ingredients (probably one of the highest quality I've had for donburi) but the portion size was small relative to the price. There was a minimal amount of fish so the fish to rice ratio felt like it was on the low end vs other places. The sides of fish are $6 and only provide 3 slices of sashimi. I felt the menu prices could be lower.Ambiance was so-so as the place had an interesting smell. The chairs are wooden stools with no backrest. The service was OK, staff wasn't particularly attentive but is Japanese nature to not bother the customers before service is requested. The food came out extremely quickly.
Mar 01, 2025 · Albert NgWow, the fish here is super fresh and you can taste the quality, the service is really efficient and quick. The space is a little small, but you don’t have to wait long for a seat, as they’re super efficient. I got the tuna and salmon bowl with shrimp, and I’ve never had raw shrimp before this is my first time, but it was really great.
