Takumi Sushi Reviews
Great food, great service and quick (if you’re early!) I was happily surprised, would come back all day!I love how you get a sheet to order from! And our waiter kept them coming!Got hibachi, rice less rolls were super yummy. Amazing! Clean! Yummy. Would come back any time!
Jan 02, 2025 · Yasmin TorrensI really wanted to like this place, but the food was dreadful. The water and tea had the best flavor. The portions and presentation look right but I may as well have been eating playdoh.Jersey Mike's is right next door and should be the go to choice. I would give this place no stars but the site won't allow it.We did let the waitress know that we would not be finishing the rest of the meal, and she spoke with the manager. He did ask for our feedback and when we let him know that we were unimpressed with the meal, he stated that they offered the best food for the amount they charge. Definitely never coming back and would strongly recommend that no one else does either.Update: I was lucky enough to make it home in time to continue experiencing the rest of the meal on the porcelain throne. It's been 10 minutes and just when I think I'm done, the journey continues. In regards to the taste response by the restaurant, personal taste has nothing to do with the follow up experience I'm having at home. I'm definitely not surprised by the lack of willingness by the management to ensure all experiences are as positive and memorable as possible.I would post pictures of my current predicament but I believe that would violate Google's policies, much like this restaurant is violating my insides at the moment.
Mar 23, 2025 · Bruce BannahI want to start by saying the service was excellent, fast, and friendly. Great, clean, quiet atmosphere. But as far as the food... You're going to want to pass. It was pretty bad sushi. We did the all you can eat and tried a variety of the menu which was fun... However, it is all low quality and some things just bad. The steak hibachi was chewy, bland, just bad. There were numerous nigiri fish that were bad but mostly the temperature and cuts were not good. The rice actually was pretty bad... Which seems like a simple way that could've been improved. We liked the gyoza and jalapeno bombs... But the fried oysters, crab rangoons, seafood soup were not so great.
Jan 18, 2025 · Arianna TaggartWe went on a Monday around 4. We were greeted instantly by the hostess and sat in a booth. The place was relatively clean and had a nice atmosphere. Takumi definitely has nice aesthetics. I enjoyed the artwork. Very welcomingOur server was very cool and attentive. She was super nice and very informative. Accomodations go a long way for me and she did it right. We ordered quite a bit of food and she pointed out each dish specifically which I am grateful for because it was a lot of food. The food itself was great. Sashimi tasted great and all the dishes were excellent. The salmon sashimi had really great flavor to it, and the cowboy roll was particularly my favorite. If you enjoy AYCE sushi, takumi is a hit. They have happy hour from 3-6.
Feb 25, 2025 · Danny “LordGoofy” NguyenWe went on a busy Saturday night which was a great sign that the locals loved this place. We were not from this area but this is where we met my mom for an early Mother's Day dinner. The staff was courteous and attentive while it was clear they were very busy trying to handle the appetites of all the guests. The food was fresh, fairly fast given the crowd size, and the portion sizes were surprisingly big on the rolls. The nigiri was half sized but it doesn't matter since you can order up to 20 at a time. It seems like a smart strategy.I was so hungry that I forgot to take pictures but I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a high quality and good value all you can eat experience.Bonus points, they had gluten free soy sauce.
