Tokyo Express Reviews
Terrible customer service and the little guy that owns the place is a point prover oppose to a customer pleaser. I ordered 2 hibachi plates chicken and shrimp with veggies but one set of veggies on the side. Upon picking up my order and getting to my car my veggies that were on the side for one plate did not have any broccoli which is my favorite. I normally ask for no onions and more broccoli but this time I wanted it all. My fiancé doesn’t like veggies hence why I asked for his on the side for me to eat. I went back in and nicely told the guy and explained to him that I love the broccoli it’s my favorite and I wanted it. He told me the broccoli is cooked with the shrimp. That makes no sense seeing as to how they cook the food on the grill to order. Anyways, I proceed to say well what happens if someone orders just vegetables because if you can just cook veggies it would make sense to just have made my veggies on the side just as you would make a veggie plate. He kept arguing me and I calmly kept saying but that doesn’t make sense even pleading with another customer to show understanding so that he would understand too. Ultimately it doesn’t matter at this point I’m the customer and you see I deeply want the brocoli I paid for and did not get AT ALL without warning! So I then asked him so I need to bring my fiancées plate back in with the shrimp in order for you to fix and make the shrimp with the broccoli opposed to you just throwing some broccoli on the grill and making for me and I’ll be out your hair. He shrugged his shoulders and said I guess. So I was like well okay I’ll do that. I brought my fiancés plate back in just so he could fix however it must be fixed and I’d just pick the broccoli out of his shrimp because again I paid for it and I wanted it. This man literally told me I had to wait 10minutes more for it. After 10minutes of waiting he brought me my plate and I still said thank you and I hope you have a blessed evening. He said uh huh, ok and I left. when I got to car and checked my plate he gave me 3 pieces of broccoli which you will see in my attached picture. At this point him trying to prove a wrong point is more important than a consistent customer, because I’ve supported his business for years even now after Covid when his portions of food are now smaller. I am pregnant and my stomach is very picky atp and veggies is darn near all I can keep down with other light things and I love broccoli. This was very disappointing and he has now lost my support as a customer. I’m also attaching a picture of how much onion he gave though
Aug 31, 2024 · KarmenI ordered food from Tokyo Express for the first time since my local Chinese is closed on Sundays. I ordered chicken with broccoli and I specified that I don't want it Hibachi. I came to pick it up and brought it home. It was Hibachi and SUPER salty!!! I couldn't eat it. Threw it in the trash and had frozen pizza which made me happen than over salted heated food. The chicken was dry as if it was reheated multiple times. I will not order from there again. Also, I live 20 mins away, it's worth to return the food.
Oct 27, 2024 · Agnes KacaFirst and last time trying . Not good at all . No flavor, Chicken taste like fake chicken and Steak is super dry. Not worth the 50$ I spent .
Sep 15, 2024 · Kendyll BriggsWe were there to pick up meals for family!! We bought the one family pack and 8 egg rolls!! All the food was good, we had an extra person showed up and still had enough food for 6 adults! We enjoyed the food!
Oct 14, 2023 · Vickie HolcombGot the chicken and shrimp plate. The shrimp were the small out of a bag salad shrimp. They tasted very fishy. I raked them to the side. The portion of chicken was small and was dry and had a dirty grill taste. After eating lunch, I have been close to the bathroom for the rest of the day with stomach issues.
