Tokyo Wako Pasadena Reviews
The place was large and fairly empty. I ordered spicy tuna roll, Philly roll and two pieces of Hamachi. I was surprised the sushi comes as one piece, not two as I am used to. The quality was fine, nothing spectacular. I was hungry, tired and wanted sushi. This was close to my hotel.
May 03, 2025 · Jennifer ChapmanOverall the food and atmosphere is great, all except the service. Don't they know it's rude to bring the check while still dining? more than once this has happened to us. They are trying to expedite the service and clear the table by rushing us out. Next time it will reflect in the tip.
May 27, 2025 · M MFood was decent not good or exceptional. Place was expensive. I got one entree and a drink and walked out spending almost $50. The service was TERRIBLE they were so rude and it seems like everyone working there hated it there. The manager woman was so rude and insufferable especially made no sense since the place was empty on a Friday evening. Would not come back.
May 31, 2025 · Dilichi NwankwoThis place is definitely more for the service and experience rather than the food. The chefs are amazing, friendly, and very talented. They put on a fantastic show with lots of fire. But the food is very mediocre, not very tasty.
May 12, 2024 · Shawn ShengMy first visit to this restaurant, and I ordered way too much food, but everything was excellent. Started with the vegetable tempura appetizer and order the Chitrashi sushi for my entrée. Both items were prepared perfectly. The tempura was excellent: crisp, warm and delicious. The sushi was very flavorful and fresh and I realize it's been too long since I've had sushi! Recommend both of these dishes
