Uncommon Ramen Reviews
Cozy and lovely place to eat - we even walked in ~45 minutes before close and they were so lovely. The tonkotsu ramen was to die for. The staff was so caring and kind, making sure to accommodate any & all dietary restrictions! Will def be going back 馃
Mar 05, 2025 路 Emma SmithGot chili sauce to go with ramen but accidentally kept stuffing my face until everything was gone. I feel satisfied after one bowl but want to keep eating and push my limits. The girls behind the counter do their best even when it is really busy. They are attentive and accurate with custom orders. Wish kitchen was bigger for an expanded menu. Definition of strong women who fees the community.
Mar 02, 2025 路 Jacob KunschI enjoyed this little ramen restaurant in downtown Phoenixville. They had good vegan options and the food was super good. The menu is pretty small, but they do a good job with what鈥檚 available. We had bao buns with tofu that were absolutely delicious! The ramen was very good also! Overall I would come back if not just for the bao buns :)
Mar 17, 2024 路 Nathaniel LeggMoved from NYC a few years ago and most dining experiences I have had since I left were unremarkable to say the least. Uncommon Ramen was the first place since leaving the city that didn鈥檛 disappoint. Not going to lie, is it the world鈥檚 greatest ramen? No. Is it solid, made from scratch and run by friendly genuine and unpretentious people? 馃挴 yes!!Cute, small little dining room, friendly staff and well made ramen. I will say working in hospitality in this area myself I have found the general population around here can鈥檛 handle authentic flavors and tend to gravitate towards homogenized (pronounced bland) flavor profiles so if I had one complaint it would be I suspect they dialed down some of the flavors for the local sensibilities. However who can blame them. Overall, especially for the area, 10 out of 10.
Jan 18, 2025 路 Nate Alleni have to say i was hesitant to try uncommon reading some of the reviews, but i鈥檓 so glad i tried it! it鈥檚 a smaller spot but very cute and cozy inside (and hot haha). we ordered the veggie gyozas, tonkotsu and tantan ramen. everything was delicious, the ramen really flavorful and the pork chashu super tender. the ginger soy dipping sauce for the gyozas was a highlight too. also really convenient that it鈥檚 a BYOB! only comment would be that the tantan was labeled as extra spicy, but we found it to be pretty mild. the portions are generous too. we鈥檒l definitely be back to try some of the other menu items!
