Serving sizes and pricing was very generous! Staff were friendly, attentive, and quick. Their lunchbox special is something I hope they keep around!
Feb 02, 2025 · Mia BedfordBest Yaki Udon I had in NYC and I ate Yaki Udon at over 100 restaurants. The service is impeccable and very friendly. This is also one of the most affordable places for lunch special I have been to.
Mar 22, 2025 · Maksim BrennerFood is okie but not the top quality. We ordered spicy tuna combo and spider roll which are really so so. Spider roll is barely the side of a regular sized roll. I enjoy the eel hand roll thou. Truly they can work on getting better quality fish and food.Service is nice. They are friendly and quick. Nothing to improve there except a little more attentive.Ambiance can add a little updating. The table is not comfortable as well as the chairs. Again quick dinner spot and right price.
Jul 18, 2023 · Kevin ZengDecided to order in as a weekend treat and try a new restaurant in my neighborhood! This was some of the best sushi I’ve had in a long time. Everything was fresh. Good quality fish. And my order was delivered in less than 30 minutes! Yamato will officially be my new go-to local sushi spot.P.s. How cute is the soy sauce dish that they sent?!
Jan 30, 2023 · Johnna HaywardFish was super fresh and really high quality, plated differently and equally pretty every time I goStaff were very nice and polite, I'm not a fan of these fancy sit down restaurants but even going in after school or work looking like an absolute mess didn't feel like I was being judged or anything. Don't love the seating but it's mostly awkwardness bc it's a very open space & I go alone. Very few people around when I've goneSpent $40 including >20% tip for the dinner size sushi and sashimi platter with miso soup every time I've been. As a pretty big guy its a good size, I haven't had more than a couple small snacks food-wise before I go for lunch there & I'm completely full after eating there. I know they have a lunch version that's less than half the price but it has smaller portions so I haven't gotten itAbsolutely luv this place food is so good and not outrageously expensive. Spoiling me sushi-wise & now I eat here so often most other places are just disappointing.
