The accessibility of Yoku is a significant advantage for New Yorkers. Woodside Avenue is a busy and well-connected street, and the area is robustly served by public transportation. The 7 subway line, a crucial artery for many Queens and Manhattan residents, has stations within easy walking distance, such as the 69th Street-Fisk Avenue station. Numerous bus routes also traverse Woodside Avenue and nearby streets, providing additional convenient options. This excellent public transit access makes Yoku an easy destination for a quick lunch, a relaxed dinner, or for picking up a takeout order, seamlessly integrating into the daily routines of locals.

They offer various nigiri (e.g., Salmon, Tuna, Yellowtail, Bluefin Tuna) and sashimi (Salmon, Yellowtail, Tuna) options, typically sold by the piece or in sets.
- Specialty Sushi Rolls: The restaurant features a wide array of classic and signature rolls. Highly recommended "favorite" rolls include the "Chef Tashi Special Roll" and the "Dopeboy Roll," indicating unique and flavorful creations. Other rolls like Yayoi Roll, Rainbow Roll, Green Dragon Roll, and New York Roll are also on the menu.
- Tibetan / Nepali Snacks: A unique highlight is their offering of "Tibetan/Nepali snacks which they freshly make and serve." Customers enthusiastically recommend trying their "khapsay, potato chips and their pickle," noting they taste "amazing." This fusion element sets Yoku apart from many other sushi spots.
- Other Japanese Main Dishes: Beyond sushi, the menu extends to include other Japanese favorites such as Teriyaki (Salmon, Chicken, Beef, Shrimp), Yakiniku Beef, and Miso Garlic Shrimp.

Based on the available customer reviews and public information, Yoku primarily relies on its consistent quality and moderate pricing as its main value proposition for New Yorkers, rather than frequently advertised, rotating promotions.
- Everyday Value: The consistent feedback that prices are "moderate" and "very affordable" for "delicious" food serves as an ongoing "special offer" in the competitive New York City dining scene. Customers feel they are getting good quality for their money on a regular basis.

It's advisable for New Yorkers to inquire directly or check their in-store menu for any such daily deals. Their online menu does show Maki Lunch specials for "Any Two Roll" or "Any Three Roll" combos at specific price points, indicating value for lunch orders.
- Takeout/Delivery Platform Incentives: When ordering through third-party platforms like Seamless or Grubhub, customers might occasionally encounter platform-specific promotions (e.g., a percentage off their first order, free delivery for minimum spend). These are typically run by the delivery service, but Yoku's participation makes them accessible.
Since customer reviews emphasize the taste and affordability, it suggests that the regular menu pricing already provides excellent value for locals. For the most current and precise information on any existing special offers or happy hour deals, directly contacting the restaurant is recommended.

Jan 03, 2023 · Apil SapkotaYoku is located at the heart of Woodside Queens NY. I went there today with my family. They have a small space and it is very clean. There are three or four tables, you can eat there or take out. Price is moderate but they are very delicious. Kani salad, salmon Tartar, yellowrail jalapeno all are delicious. My favorite is Chef Tashi Special Roll & Dopeboy Roll. However I have yet to try their rest of the rolls, sushi & sashimi. Service is wonderful & I enjoyed a lot. I can't wait to go back and try rest of the sushi in their menu.
