Yummy Crab Reviews
My wife and I are sea food lovers to say the least. We have been to a wide range of seafood from small shops to high end restaurants featured on prominent tv shows. And I can say this. If you know your seafood you won’t enjoy eating here. The food I bland and lacks a lot of flavor. They don’t even use fresh garlic in the sauce. It’s very oily. The atmosphere here is great. The decor is nice and there are TVs all around. The service wasn’t that good. Maybe just our day there. But the main focus here is the food. If you’re a hard core seafood fan, consider other places. If you just want to try something different and don’t want to drive all the way to Portland, this can be worth a try. We got the mix of all flavors with the spicy variety. This prices are quite high here compared to other seafood options.
Mar 30, 2025 · Victor CosovanWe ordered hush puppies for an appetizer. For the main course we ordered the one pound shrimp one pound crab combo and added an extra side of corn. Our appetizer didn't come out until after the main course, if I hadn't asked about it I'm not sure we would have gotten it. It was a bit if a wait on the food but our waitress was friendly. I wouldn't recommend coming here if you don't have a lot of time to wait. The food was yummy, the garlic butter with old bay was nicely seasoned. What we ordered was enough for myself and two children to feel satisfied. If you're craving a seafood boil this place definitely hits the spot. It is pretty kid friendly, they gave my kiddos crayons to draw on the paper that lined the table which they loved!
Sep 09, 2024 · DaniI promised my wife crab legs as a treat after the recent birth of our second son, and she was more than willing to take me up on the offer. Being somewhat immobile due to...well, having just given birth, that meant the crab needed to come to her. Awesome husband to the rescue!Discovering that our favorite crab-slinging food cart was in the process of relocation, we needed to look elsewhere, and decided to give Yummy Crab a shot. Picking up her full order of Dungeness legs, medium hot, Cajun style, and bring it back home, it thankfully arrived intact, un-spilled, and still piping hot!Gauging by the carnage left behind, I'd say she enjoyed it. In fact, she said Yummy Crab probably ranked as her second favorite crab restaurant, which is pretty high praise: we've have had some mediocre and underwhelming experience elsewhere, and were glad to buck the trend.Although it's a little out of the way, across the river from home, we're in the Vancouver Mall area often enough that the chance of stopping in, and dining in person, the next time the crab craving overtakes her, is pretty darn high.
May 11, 2025 · Jason Van CampThe steamer bag we had was shrimp and crab. Everything was delicious. Seafood is expensive, i always forget... It was $140 with tip for two of us. We also got the deep fried fish(catfish and tilapia) and shrimp. The shrimp were great, but the fish was mooshy in the middle. I wanted to give them 5 stars. The crab was amazing. The steamer bag was delicious 10 of 10. Unfortunately the fish wasn't cheap, and it wasn't very good.
Jan 26, 2025 · No ThanksHave been craving a seafood boil lately and this was the closest place nearby. We went in for the lunch menu, which is pretty good price. I got the crawfish and snow crab with the garlic butter old bay sauce. It was a 10 out of 10. My dad got the fried catfish Was also super good and our waitress was super nice. Also the place is super adorable inside, didn’t expect it to be so cute!
