ZZ's Club Miami Introduce
zz's club miami, zz's miami, zz restaurant miami
For those residing in or visiting the vibrant and fashion-forward Miami Design District, the name ZZ's Club often conjures images of exclusivity and high-end luxury. While primarily known as a private, members-only establishment for dinner, locals in Florida have a unique opportunity to experience its renowned Japanese cuisine and impeccable service during lunch hours. This makes ZZ's Club Miami a hidden gem for those seeking an elevated midday meal in one of the city's most stylish neighborhoods.
Operated by the acclaimed Major Food Group (MFG), ZZ's Club Miami is a sophisticated Japanese restaurant designed to offer a truly premium dining experience. It seamlessly blends the vibrant energy of Miami with the refined traditions of Japanese culinary art. During lunch, the restaurant opens its doors to the public, allowing anyone to savor their exquisite dishes, from the freshest sushi and sashimi to expertly prepared Japanese entrees. It’s an ideal spot for a luxurious business lunch, a special treat after a day of shopping in the Design District, or simply for those who appreciate top-tier food and service in an elegant setting.
ZZ's Club Miami is centrally located in the prestigious Miami Design District at 151 NE 41st St Suite 117, Miami, FL 33137, USA. This prime address places it right in the heart of one of Miami's most fashionable and culturally significant areas, surrounded by luxury boutiques, art galleries, and other high-end establishments. Its location makes it incredibly accessible for residents from various parts of Miami, including Brickell, South Beach, and Downtown, as well as those working or shopping within the Design District itself.
The Design District is well-serviced by roads, making driving and rideshare services the most common modes of transportation. Valet parking is generally available in the area, which is typical for establishments of this caliber within the district. Being situated amidst such a renowned destination adds to the allure of dining at ZZ's Club, allowing patrons to combine their culinary experience with exploration of the surrounding high-fashion and artistic environment.
ZZ's Club Miami, while functioning primarily as a private club in the evenings, offers distinct services during its public lunch hours:
- Public Lunch Service: This is a key offering, allowing non-members to experience the restaurant's high-end Japanese cuisine. Lunch is typically available daily, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
- A La Carte Japanese Menu: The lunch menu features a selection of premium Japanese dishes. This includes:
- Sushi and Raw Bar Items: Options like Sushi Platters, Chirashi Bowls (such as the Toro Bowl), and specialty items like Crispy Rice with Yellowtail & Jalapeño Tartare. They also feature raw dishes like Salmon, Tuna, and Beef Carpaccios, and Caviar & Avocado.
- Cooked Japanese Dishes: Offerings often include grilled fish and meat served with house sauces, and premium Japanese beef cooked on custom-built charcoal grills. Wagyu Sando and Lobster Dumplings have also been featured.
- Signature Items: Patrons can find renowned dishes from Major Food Group, such as the Trout Roe Toast.
- Desserts: A selection of high-quality desserts to conclude the meal.
- Private Membership (Dinner and Exclusive Amenities): For evenings, ZZ's Club operates as a private membership club. Members gain access to a host of exclusive amenities on the second floor, which includes a cigar terrace, a backgammon balcony, and an intimate bar and lounge. This provides a "second home" environment with tailored hospitality.
- Omakase Sushi Bar: The first floor houses a traditional sushi Omakase counter, presided over by acclaimed chefs (like Yasu Tanaka). This exclusive 16-seat experience focuses on ingredients flown in from Tokyo. Access to this may require specific reservations or membership status.
- Full Bar Service: The club features an extensive bar, offering a wide array of spirits, wines, and signature cocktails to complement the Japanese cuisine.
- Events and Private Dining: ZZ's Club and its sister property Chateau ZZ's (also by MFG in Miami) are equipped to host private events, ranging from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations, with custom menus and dedicated service.
ZZ's Club Miami stands out with several key features that make it a premier Japanese dining destination for locals:
- Exclusive Lunch Access: The most significant highlight for non-members in Florida is the ability to dine at ZZ's Club for lunch without needing a membership. This provides an otherwise exclusive fine-dining experience accessible to a broader public.
- Unparalleled Food Quality: Customers consistently praise the food for being "very good" and "great." Dishes like the Toro Bowl, Crispy Rice Yellowtail, and the burger are specifically noted for their deliciousness. The restaurant boasts ingredients flown directly from Tokyo for its sushi.
- Major Food Group Pedigree: As a creation of Major Food Group, a renowned hospitality company known for iconic establishments like Carbone and Sadelle's, ZZ's Club benefits from a legacy of exceptional culinary standards and service.
- High-End Japanese Cuisine: The menu offers a refined selection of Japanese dishes, including top-tier sushi, sashimi, and an extensive offering of Wagyu beef served in various preparations (e.g., Wagyu Sando, grilled over charcoal).
- Exceptional Service: Reviewers frequently highlight the "great service and experience." The staff is consistently described as attentive and professional, contributing significantly to the overall positive dining impression.
- Elegant and Designed Ambiance: With interiors designed by renowned Ken Fulk, the restaurant offers a sophisticated and visually appealing environment. While some have varying opinions on the decor, it undeniably exudes a high-end, carefully curated atmosphere.
- Prime Design District Location: Being situated in the Miami Design District adds to its appeal, allowing diners to enjoy a luxurious meal in a fashionable and vibrant part of the city.
Given ZZ's Club Miami's position as a high-end, members-only establishment for dinner, traditional public promotions like daily happy hours are not typically advertised. The primary "special offer" for the general public is the very availability of lunch service without a membership, which is a significant value proposition in itself.
- Public Lunch Access: This is the most crucial "promotion" for non-members. The ability to dine at such an exclusive venue during lunch hours provides access to premium Japanese cuisine and service that would otherwise require a substantial membership fee for dinner. Lunch is served daily from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
- Curated Lunch Menu: While not a discount, the lunch menu is curated to offer a selection of ZZ's classics and high-quality dishes at price points suitable for a luxurious midday meal, often including sushi platters, bento boxes, and chirashi bowls.
- Member Benefits: For those considering membership, the benefits include access to exclusive amenities on the second floor, private dining areas, and a tailored hospitality experience. Individual annual memberships start at $3,500 with a $10,000 one-time initiation fee, while "Major" memberships for two are $3,500 annually with a $15,000 initiation fee. These are, however, for exclusive club access, not promotions in the typical sense for casual diners.
For the most current lunch menu details, pricing, and reservation information, it is highly recommended that locals visit ZZ's Club Miami's official website or check their OpenTable listing, as offerings can evolve.
To experience the renowned Japanese cuisine at ZZ's Club Miami, here’s how you can get in touch:
Address: 151 NE 41st St Suite 117, Miami, FL 33137, USA

For locals in the Florida region, particularly those in the vibrant Miami area, ZZ's Club Miami presents a compelling and somewhat exclusive opportunity for an exceptional Japanese dining experience. While its evening operations are reserved for members, the fact that it opens its doors to the public for lunch is a significant draw, allowing a wider audience to experience the luxury and quality associated with Major Food Group's establishments. ZZ's Club Miami Reviews
Zz’s is a known member only restaurant, but I love that they open it to everyone for lunch. Their food and service is always very good especially after a day of walking around the Design District.
Mar 23, 2025 · Kristy YingIt's a really great place for lunch, they are known for membership only at dinner but you can go for lunch without membership, everything was great, We got the burger, Toro bowl, crispy rice yellowtail and few desserts, great service and experience as well.
Dec 25, 2024 · Alejandro Rosete RondonIt’s my second time. Consistent in flavors presentation and service. Elegant atmosphere. I found the bottled water service excessive. My glass was always full and was not allowed the chance to get a cold glass of water since they kept pouring water over the warmer water. Please stop and ask your guests how they prefer water service. It’s obvious they want to upsell you water but guests should also have a right to refuse refills every 10 minutes. Other than that, a great evening and delicious food.
Jul 02, 2024 · Amina AyoubFor sure one of the best experience since I am in Miami.Different dining areas, TV’s room along with candy’s room and obviously the cigar lounge couldn’t be missing!Food and service (Ckris) impeccable
Jul 20, 2024 · Ivan MariottiAs a Broward county Native and restaurant bar, I can tell you that this is five times better than anything I’ve had in Broward county. The service is unbelievable. The food was amazing. The vibe was awesome. I’m super grateful that my buddy invited us. It’s a private club.
