Aodake Sushi and Hibachi Reviews
A fun experience was had by all. I chose this place because the menu was more affordable for a group. I guess you get what you pay for though…The hibachi chef seemed tired as did the server/host. We had to wait awhile for everything since there were only the two employees. The restaurant was very small and dark. It looked old and dated. The gas smell from the grills was very noticeable to me and the ventilation fans needed cleaning from the grease.. The food was adequate and the portions were decent. They put a chicken head hat on my brother and brought out a sundae with a Roman candle so that was very nice and fun. I was moderately satisfied but would not go there again

May 23, 2025 · houssem mahfoudWe were there two years ago. Food was horrible and service was awful. I've been going there since you opened in 2006. Never a bad meal or sushi experience. We loved your place. Decided to give you another chance as we missed hibachi. We had 5:30 reservations. We arrived at 5:20. We were seated at the Hibachi table. Ordered 2 sushi rolls. The timing on getting them wasn't great but they were good rolls.. There was a party of about 15+at the next Hibachi table. It was a long time before the chef came out. Another family arrived at our table after 6pm. At 6:40 the chef was not even done cooking and serving the other Hibachi table. We told the waitress that we were starving at this point and considered leaving and then another woman came to our table and had the audacity to tell us that we got here 10 minutes early! Wait, what? What does that have to do with the fact that we were there for almost 1 -1/2 hours with no chef and most likely at least another 20 minutes. That's unacceptable with reservations. The woman who berated us about getting here 10 minutes before or reservations was rude.. We told her that we were leaving and this is unacceptable. Never, ever will we ever step foot in that horrible establishment. Save you time and money and go elsewhere! 19 years of going here was a travesty in the end.
Mar 16, 2025 · Tee NAbsolutely delicious. The waitress was friendly and fast. The hibachi chef was hilarious and talented. He made sure to interact with everyone and really put on a fun show. Highly recommend for a nice, fast lunch date or family dinner. There is a Groupon and Local Flavor for $15 for $30 (dinner only) but you can go during lunch and just order the dinner portion. The atmosphere and decor is a little quirky but overall the restaurant is clean and inviting.
Sep 20, 2019 · Nicolle GrantGreat place to go with a small group. I have been here a few times with coworkers and love the atmosphere. The hibachi chefs are always fun and nice. The remaining staff is polite, respectful, and efficient at their jobs (not rude, just quiet). I always forget to take pics of the hibachi because it's so good that it's gone before I remember. Their sushi is one of the best ones I've had in the area. Managed to get a few pictures in today before gobbling it down. Currently everyone on staff is wearing both a mask and face shield. This is definitely one of my favorite hibachi and sushi places in the area.
