Haii Keii Reviews
We visited Haii Keii for a date night and were genuinely impressed. The atmosphere is chic and intimate, with a modern aesthetic that’s perfect for a night out. It was moderately noisy, but we could still hold a conversation comfortably. There’s valet parking available.Inside, the restaurant is super cute—great lighting and decor with a few perfect spots for snapping photos. I had their take on a lychee martini, which was delicious and flavorful. I also tried the espresso martini; it leaned more chocolate-forward than coffee to me, it was okay. Though, I probably would not order again. The food was beautifully presented and flavorful (especially the sushi), and the service was excellent. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave spot-on recommendations throughout the night.Overall, Haii Keii is a stylish, vibrant spot with great drinks, standout service, and a vibe that makes it ideal for date night or catching up with friends.
May 07, 2025 · Raven AExtremely Disappointed – Not the Experience We Were Promised!!!!I went to Haii Keii for my husband’s birthday on May 5th, expecting a special evening based on a personal invitation from the owner, Jamie Allen. He had recently visited my showroom and we had a friendly conversation about his business ventures. I shared a previous poor experience at his Juliet location, and he assured me that Haii Keii would be a completely different experience—better food, better service, and a much more refined operation. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and booked a birthday dinner for 13 guests. The evening started off well—we were impressed by the décor and ambiance upon entering. However, things quickly went downhill. Despite the restaurant being relatively empty, we were asked to wait at the bar until more guests arrived. Service at the bar was painfully slow and disorganized. The staff lacked menu knowledge, and nearly every question was met with “I’ll go check.” Once our party was seated, it took over 25 minutes just to place drink orders—and nearly 50 minutes before my husband (the birthday guest) received his.During the evening, I was texting Jamie to let him know we were having a poor experience. Our server was unfamiliar with the menu, wrote orders on paper, and frequently disappeared into the kitchen to get answers. When I asked for appetizers to keep the group content, they arrived at the same time as the entrées. My Wagyu plate arrived cold, and when I asked Jamie to have it reheated, he took it back without any real concern.Multiple guests complained about the food—poor flavor, small portions, and overall lackluster quality. No effort was made to resolve the situation, offer a discount, or make things right. We paid the bill and left disappointed.Even worse, by the next morning, six guests from our party reported symptoms of food poisoning, with two confirmed hospital visits. My husband reached out to Jamie about the health concerns and received no response.Jamie told us the poor service was due to it being a Monday and that we had his “B team” working. He said we should have come on a weekend to experience his “A team.” Frankly, that kind of comment is unacceptable. Every guest, on any day, deserves quality service—there shouldn’t be an A or B team.Final thoughts: This experience was unacceptable on all levels—poor service, disappointing food, and serious health concerns. As a business owner myself, I understand growing pains, but blaming your team and ignoring food safety concerns is not how you build trust.Protect your wallet—and your stomach. I do not recommend Haii Keii based on our experience.
May 30, 2025 · Ginger ReneeGreat atmosphere. The decor and vibe do feel like Kill Bill / Blade Runner. The music is house music, and it's not super loud, so you can have a conversation without yelling. I had made reservations and had no problem getting seated immediately. Our waiter made great recommendations for food and drinks and was very attentive. The food is not amazing but not horrible. The nigiri we got were solid for a high scale sushi restaurant. The issue I had was the prices, but I understand that I am paying for the environment. I would recommend going for date night or with a big group. The bill with tip was north of 400 dollars for 2 people.
Feb 23, 2025 · Jose ChaconMy new favorite hidden gem. This place is very pretty it has a low light romantic type vibe .valet Parking was 10 dollars . Going In to the place was very pretty ,the lights gave kill bill retro type vibes. It's best to set reservations as the places tend to get busy. The plates are like tappas so don't expect to get full. The drinks were made pretty and tasted really good. I love how the drink menu looks, very eye catching. The food was cool, the best out the food was the crab rice. Don't sleep on the crab rice. It was so good, well seasoned with a soft shell crab in the middle. That was good AF. My waiter was really nice and answered any questions we had. The food also comes out as you order it . The tables included a purse hanger that you can take home. I went for a birthday and I love the fact that they will display happy birthday on the walls for the birthday person . This place is so beautiful I definitely recommend
Apr 04, 2025 · Shatoni MarieI had the pleasure of dining at Haii Keii, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the elegant yet inviting atmosphere. TheseSleek décor and background music created the perfect setting for a high-end dining experience. The food was nothing short of incredible. The sushi was some of the freshest I’ve ever had—the sake-toro melted in my mouth, and every roll was crafted with precision and balance.Beyond the food, the service was impeccable. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing, making sure every detail of my experience was perfect. I also appreciated their recommendations for sake pairings, which elevated the meal even further.I would highly recommend coming here for a girl's night or date night.
