After dining here for the second time, I’d like to recognize this restaurant as an excellent location for the enjoyment of Japanese cuisine. I was delighted by ALL the food selections made in my most recent visit — pan fried gyoza, BBQ pork buns, Gyudon bowl & Char Siu Don bowl. Each bite was truly enjoyable and filled with fresh top-tier flavor. Whether it is an appetizer, ramen or rice bowl, one cannot go wrong.I stopped by on a weekday, late lunch hour (party of 2) — kindly greeted and immediately seated upon arrival. I appreciated the staff’s hospitality and attentiveness very much. Our server went above and beyond during our visit, even received an exclusive look at their new upcoming menu. I’ll most definitely return and check it out!

I accidentally found this spot—and now it’s my go-to!The tonkotsu ramen is phenomenal! rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The gyozas are bomb, crispy outside and juicy inside. I also tried the steamed bun, and it was solid. Easily my favorite ramen place so far. Highly recommend!

This is sadly for me to write, the hype that this place gave me was that it was the best, it’s cute, the plates are cute but the flavor and the texture its not there. I got a Tonkotsu ramen and everything was off. The soups was almost good but too salty (and I come from a “it needs more salt” family) the Bamboo roots were stiff and the noodles were halfway cooked, you could see that there were not fully cooked. The pork disappointed me so bad, it tasted like it was old and in the beginning of decomposition. 😭 The edamame was biter. Maybe it was a bad cooking day? And the place is actually awesome. 😔 I never leave any leftovers but today, Oh girl in sad about my meal.

We decided one night we wanted to try some Ramen so we came to Ichiro Sapporo since we live 10 minutes away. I checked prior to arriving for possible wait times and google quickly informed me there was no wait. We were seated upon arrival which was nice. Our waitress was nice but seemed like the only one working. It wasn't busy so she handled all the tables okay. It was a Tuesday night which didn't seem too busy. We had wings and each had a Ramen bowl. The wings were delicious!! Highly recommend! The Ramen was just okay. I was expecting more depth of flavor but overall I would say 3 out of 5. I may visit again and try another dish!
