Nori Sushi & Asian Dining Reviews
Lovely, clean, modern, nice, simple decor. Mia our server was friendly and attentive. My vegetable tempura was delightful. The batter was light and seasoned with a light herb flavor. The vegetables are red pepper, zucchini, sweet potato, and onion. The peppers were lightly crunchy while the potato and zucchini well cooked. The sauce was perfect. It was a filling meal.My friend enjoyed everything ordered.Easy parking, your lucky if you get street parking in front of the restaurant. Plenty of parking behind.Enjoy!
May 14, 2025 · Michelle PeacockThe garlic edamame is to die for! And our rolls were fantastic! (Lobster, crunch and I forget the name of the last one, shown in picture.) Service was great, though we were one of only a few people on a Sunday afternoon.Ambience was nice but the place had a funky smell - not seafood related. My sister who visits often said it always smells that way. Strange. We got over it.
May 20, 2025 · Jacquie LuproWe stopped by Nori for lunch and had such a great experience that I had to leave a review. Everything from the presentation to the flavors was on point. We started with the gyoza, which came out with a very unique presentation and a dipping sauce that complemented it perfectly—super flavorful and a great way to kick off the meal. For sushi, we tried a variety and loved every bite. The salmon belly nigiri and toro nigiri was melt-in-your-mouth delicious—so buttery and fresh. The Hamachi Fire Roll had the perfect amount of heat to it, nicely balanced by the freshness of the fish. The Nori Crunchy Roll was super savory and satisfying, and the Big Eye Diver Roll struck an ideal balance of fresh and rich flavors. We paired it all with a bit of sake, which made for a perfect, relaxing lunch. Great service, clean and inviting atmosphere—definitely looking forward to coming back!
Apr 16, 2025 · Rod MonteverdeMom and I enjoyed a quiet Wednesday lunch at Nori. It started with a pleasant surprise with the unique presentation of gyoza. Veggie tempura is a go-to for me and it was a good portion with a nice variety. Although it wasn't as flavorful as it looked, I still enjoyed the spicy tuna crispy rice app that i ate as a main meal. The winner, though, was mom's $20 lunch special bento. It included miso soup, salad, Cucumber salad, a tuna roll, gyoza, and nigiri. It was filling for a great price. Also, we could have eaten a huge bowl of the Cucumber salad! It was delicious! Although we didn't have any cocktails, the menu looked intriguing as well.Service was great and helpful. We just weren't blown away. Wished everything had more flavor. But, to be fair, we don't always eat at the highest quality sushi restaurants so are used to more sauces. I would still absolutely return here
Oct 30, 2024 · msbusyblondeThis was the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. When we were first sat, the bench that half our table was using collapsed, luckily only slightly scraping one of us. It took the restaurant several minutes to even ask if we were alright and about 20 minutes to be reseated somewhere else (there were plenty of open tables). We waited about half an hour for food and then got delivered several wrong dishes and had to ask 3 times to get a missing dish. The food was solidly mediocre. When we got the check, we discovered we’d been charge twice for the missing dish, despite only getting it once. We talked to the manager and only after being directly asked did he offer to comp us dessert or appetizers and refused to consider anything else. We did take him up on two desserts. He also said he’d fix our bill issue and then brought the same bill back out.At this point it had been an hour since we had first asked for our check and we were all incredibly frustrated. I asked to speak to the manager again to get a phone number for his manager. The regional manager happened to be in the store and was the most unhelpful person I have ever met. She argued with me about our checks being wrong and when I brought up the bench collapsing informed me they “were trying to run a restaurant.” Clearly they’re not trying to run a restaurant that will be in business long with service like that!
