Sato Ramen House Reviews
After returning from Japan I was looking for similar delicious authentic Ramen. Look no further. Top tier Ramen house here with fresh ingredients, delicious food, perfect noodles, and meat that just melts in your mouth. I come here weekly and I will come here weekly. You can’t go wrong for any of the four Ramen options, but I always go for Tonkotsu. If I’m not feeling the best the Yuzu gives that tasty lemon flavor. The spicy Tonkotsu gives it a little kick.
Apr 28, 2025 · CowmanComing from Hawaii my knowledge of Japanese cuisine is high. Chose to come here because of the 4.6 rating on Google however the rating does not match the food unfortunately. This is a my biggest pet peeve when Japanese restaurants owned and operated by non-Japanese try to sell authentic Japanese food. The food here was an abomination. This restaurant is not authentic. The tamago yaki has an imitation crab stick in the middle of it. The karaage chicken was “breaded” and my tsukumen broth was thickened with cornstarch just like how Chinese soup is thickened. I have had better ramen in an airport. This place was a disappointment and a shame to real authentic Japanese ramen. 3.9 stars at the most.
Dec 30, 2024 · Trase WagnerLoved the restaurant atmosphere and the spaciousness between tables. We tried the yuzu shio ramen (really unique by virtue of the yuzu flavor, super delicious, finished the whole bowl), the tonkatsu ramen (solid, delicious, three party members liked it), the karaage (crunchy, nice texture), and the takoyaki (perfect). Everything tasted great. Serving sizes were good. Will return sometime.
Apr 04, 2023 · Amber HuynhGood service, good appetizers, but average ramen. Karage chicken was very juicy and tender, and the steamed egg was very well made. However the main event is somewhat disappointing, the yuzu ship ramen had no yuzu flavor at all, just a couple of slices of lemon and lime (which is not yuzu!!) on top, the tonkatsu is also just alright, nothing special to note. All of the ramen were quite salty as well.
Oct 08, 2023 · Jack LiuI had my birthday dinner recently at Sato Ramen House, and I loved it.From the super-friendly and accommodating reservation call for 8 people that I made over the phone to the attentive, quick, and personal service in the restaurant, and everything in-between, everything was absolutely perfect. I am a repeat-customer, so I knew the food is delicious and top quality (my go-to is the classic Tonkotsu Ramen). Our group ordered a whole range of starters and main courses, including a number of special requests (such as vegetarian and pescatarian substitutes), requests were happily met and everybody enjoyed their meals. Also, we were warmly welcomed, and our table was ready when we arrived (which is not necessarily the case in the LA restaurant scene). I even was allowed to bring my own cake and champagne at no extra cost. And I should mention that Sato is still really reasonable with their prices. Thank you so much, Sato Ramen House, I couldn’t have made a better choice for my birthday!
