Sushiholic Reviews
Lots of flavor, high quality fish. It's not really a wonder that they have 2 News 4 WOAI blue plate awards. The spider roll (far left) was well balanced in both texture and flavor. The Rainbow Roll (middle) had a vibrant array of fresh flavors. The shrimp tempura roll (far right) was by far my favorite. The eel sauce was a phenomenal addition to the crisp texture and flavor of the shrimp.I think what really sells the sushi here for me is that the base mixture doesn't include cream cheese by default, which at other establishments is often overpowering and detracts from the flavor of the fish.11/10 on quality, and flavor. The staff was also very friendly and engaging.(Side note) It's a nice and home-ish establishment with a quaint bar and a few tables. I wouldn't call it quite a hole in the wall, but it definitely isn't a ls large as other establishments either. I think this really lends to the atmosphere while eating and conversing with the chef at the bar. Definitely a personable experience.

Nov 23, 2022 · Gabriella RangelThe staff was nice and really welcoming. Staff gets a 4. Food was ok (3). When ordering, you are sat at a table and then you look over the menu. Then you get in line to order. If you just want water it will be in water bottle form. I always venture for a new sushi restaurant and I've reviewed inexpensive to majorly expensive so as this one was near our area I figured we would try it. Whenever I have sushi, I always get a chirashi if it's offered. It's a large bowl of fish and things depending on where you go with rice under it. This one was good. Quick call outs, the fish cuts where all over the place. Some really thin some generous. The cucumbers had an odd color to them but they were pickled and tasted better than they looked. The octopus in the chirashi was underwhelming. It was 2 pieces but one piece was tiny and the other piece was like a sliver. I had to wonder what they were thinking when serving it but I did eat the one tiny piece (You can see the portion on the upper right hand side of the picture in-between the imitation crab and ginger). My husband ordered the soft shell crab for an appetizer and I ordered us some miso soups. My husband didn't care for the crab, I liked it. He thought the soup was not hot, it was warm and I ate mine and the rest of his. His roll, the voodoo roll had a good spice to it. I ordered a side of spicy mayo and it was pretty spicy. Haven't had a spicy mayo in all the sushi places that I have gone to that actually had a kick to it. I liked it.
Jun 04, 2022 · Esmeralda “Esmi” ContrerasI ordered the shrimp tempura roll and thought it was okay. My spouse ordered the house roll (pink) and really liked it. The jalapeño wasn't too much.I was really put off by the cashier/cook (he's possibly also the owner) calling female customers "babe" though. Myself included. When another woman asked him a question, he said "I already told you" then answered her question. He seemed nice enough but needs some work on his customer service skills.
Oct 29, 2022 · Valerie OGreat place to have the fresh and delicious sashimi and sushi rolls. The chef is Japanese and good was great. The atmosphere is okay as they been around for awhile. The service was good and fast. The price is little high but the sushi were good quality as expected. Check out any sashimi plate you won't be disappointed. They always people in and order on door dash or Uber eats. Highly recommend for any sushi lovers. 🍣♥️
