Sushiholics is conveniently located at 1032 W Covina Pkwy, West Covina, CA 91790, USA. This address places it on a major thoroughfare in West Covina, making it easily accessible for residents throughout the city and its neighboring communities in the San Gabriel Valley. Its presence on West Covina Parkway ensures visibility and straightforward navigation for those traveling by car.
As a standalone restaurant or part of a smaller commercial strip, Sushiholics likely offers dedicated parking, which is a significant advantage in the often-busy Southern California landscape. While specific parking details aren't explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews, its suburban location typically means easier parking compared to denser urban centers. This accessibility contributes to a hassle-free dining experience, allowing guests to focus on enjoying their meal. Its location also makes it a suitable spot for casual outings, family dinners, or quick lunch breaks for those in the vicinity.
Sushiholics provides a comprehensive Japanese dining experience with a strong emphasis on sushi, particularly through its popular all-you-can-eat (AYCE) model.
-
Dine-In All-You-Can-Eat Sushi: A core offering, Sushiholics is known for its AYCE sushi, allowing diners to enjoy a wide variety of rolls and other sushi items without limitation. This is a popular choice for those with a hearty appetite or who wish to sample many different creations. There's an important note that "if one patron orders AYCE, then the rest of the table must order AYCE."
-
A La Carte Menu: For those who prefer to order specific items, Sushiholics also offers a full a la carte menu. This includes a vast selection of specialty rolls (e.g., Vegas, Monster, Popcorn Roll, Dookie Roll, West Covina Roll), fresh cut rolls (California Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Rainbow Roll), baked/cooked/fried rolls, and a variety of sushi and sashimi (Tuna, Salmon, Yellowtail, Albacore, Escolar).
-
Appetizers and Starters: The menu features classic Japanese appetizers such as Edamame, Gyoza, Shrimp Tempura, Mix Tempura, and unique offerings like Green Mussels, Jalapeno Bombs, and Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna.
-
Entrees and Bowls: Beyond sushi, Sushiholics provides a selection of cooked entrees including Chicken Teriyaki, Beef Teriyaki, Salmon Teriyaki, Chicken Katsu, and various Tempura plates. They also offer diverse bowls like Chicken Teriyaki Bowl, Beef Bowl, Spicy Tuna Avocado Bowl, and Chirashi Don Bowl.
-

Sushiholics stands out in West Covina for several key features and highlights that contribute to its popularity and positive customer experiences.
-
Fresh and High-Quality Fish: Customers consistently praise the "very fresh" fish, a crucial element for any sushi restaurant. This commitment to fresh ingredients ensures a satisfying and authentic sushi experience.
-
Good Vibe and Atmosphere: The restaurant offers a "good vibe," creating a pleasant and enjoyable dining environment. The atmosphere is generally not "too busy on weekends for lunch," which can be a highlight for those seeking a more relaxed meal without long waits.
-
Variety of Rolls and Creative Options: Sushiholics boasts an extensive menu of rolls, from classics to unique specialty creations. Specific highlights mentioned by customers include the "Vegas, Monster, and Popcorn Roll," with the "popcorn shrimp roll" being a particular favorite. This wide selection caters to diverse tastes and encourages exploration.
-
Soft Rice and Proper Crab Meat: The quality of the sushi rice is noted as "soft," and the crab meat is "as it should be nothing special," implying a consistent and reliable standard for fundamental sushi components.
-
Fast Service (Especially During Off-Peak): Food "came out fairly quickly as there was a small amount of people" during a Sunday visit, suggesting efficiency, particularly during less busy periods. This is a significant plus for diners looking for a prompt meal.
-
Interactive Chef Experience: Diners appreciate the ability to "see the chefs preparing your food," adding an element of entertainment and transparency to the meal, enhancing the overall dining experience.
-
All-You-Can-Eat Option: The availability of an AYCE option is a major draw for many, allowing them to try a "bit of everything" without the concern of individual pricing adding up. This is particularly popular for groups.
Sushiholics primarily offers value through its all-you-can-eat (AYCE) model, which acts as a continuous "special offer" for its diners.
-
All-You-Can-Eat Pricing: The core promotion is their tiered AYCE menu. As of recent information, the AYCE Lunch Special (Monday-Friday) is around $29, while the Regular AYCE (likely dinner and weekend lunch) is about $38. A Premium AYCE option is available for an additional $10. These set prices allow customers to indulge without worrying about the cost per piece.
-
AYCE Drink Option: For those who wish to complement their meal with beverages, there's an "AYCE Drink sake & beer" option for an additional $10, offering further value for drink enthusiasts.
-
Kids AYCE Pricing: Sushiholics makes dining out with family more affordable by offering discounted AYCE prices for children: Kids Lunch is around $12 and Kids Regular is about $15.
-
Gift Cards: Sushiholics offers gift cards through platforms like Giftly. While not a discount, this allows customers to give the gift of an AYCE sushi experience, which can attract new patrons or be a thoughtful present for existing fans.
It's important for diners considering the AYCE option to be aware of their policy regarding leftovers: "Beware that you’ll be charged extra for the food you end up leaving so make sure you can eat all your food." This encourages mindful ordering and reduces waste. For the most up-to-date pricing and any seasonal specials, it is always recommended to contact Sushiholics directly or check their official online menu platforms.

Sushiholics Reviews
Great place, good vibe, it isn't too busy on weekends for lunch. The fish is very fresh and the portions are small so you can try a bit of everything.
April 07 · Mr. EyeballThis place wasn’t too busy on a Sunday. We got seated immediately and server asked if we wanted to do all you can eat but did not tell us the price of it but could assume it’s on the pricier end since it is seafood which not an issue. We ordered a total of 10 rolls I think. The ones pictured are Vegas, monster, and popcorn roll, along with seaweed salad and edamame. Sushi was good, rice was soft, crab was as it should be nothing special. I really liked the popcorn shrimp roll so I’d go for that one again. Good came out fairly quickly as there was a small amount of people. You can see the chefs preparing your food. Beware that you’ll be charged extra for the food you end up leaving so make sure you can eat all your food. Server then kind of didn’t come around too much so we waited awhile for our check but other than that if you like sushi, be sure to check it out on a busier day.
July 08 · Janet MDCPrices have went up. Sushi sucked. Used to be the spot. Sushi is overpriced and not that tasty. AYCE is $40 ea person and $1.5 ea piece that isn’t eaten. 101 sushi was closed so came back over here and I used to come here a lot years ago when it was AYCE for $21.99
April 04 · Anthony Sainz (Ant)Touted as “Anti Basic Sushi Club.” IMHO food is less authentic. Food is ok at best. Did not enjoy the California nor the Spicy Tuna rolls. The rice was too sour for my taste. Although the batter for the calamari tempura was light and well seasoned, the calamari itself was not. There was only one person taking orders, bringing the food, clearing the tables, and he was the cashier as well. Some tables were left uncleared for a long while due to this. Environment was super casual.
March 26 · Cris PantzWe are new to the neighborhood and wanted AYCE sushi. This place was nearby and it seems popular based on the reviews. I read the reviews, saying it’s the best sushi, best service, and best quality. The only tbing I agree on is that the service is the best. Their fish was mediocre at best. We ordered AYCE at $40pp for dinner. We were allowed 3 rounds. The first round of sushi was good. We were not a fan of the Philadelphia roll. It seemed like half a block of cream cheese on it, making it unappetizing. The stuffed mushrooms were good, and we enjoyed their Mango Lovers roll. Second round was when we had regrets ordering so much, because we were forced to finish a bunch of rolls that we ended up not liking. A different chef from the first round prepared it. He put too much imitation crab meat on some of the orders that it was almost unappetizing. He also added too much sauce on some of the rolls it was like our food was drowning in it. The Mango Tango roll was way overstuffed with imitation crab with only a sliver of salmon. Another roll had so much sauce swimming in it we had to force ourselves to eat it so we wouldn’t be charged for not eating it. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms, and Mango Lovers roll again and it wasn’t the same as the first round.Overall the fish wasn’t that fresh. It’s the same quality as the kind you get at a lower end AYCE buffet, and there is no consistency with the preparation of the dishes. I don’t think we will be back. We came home full from being forced to finish the food so we wouldn’t be charged extra, but not satisfied. Also for spending almost $300, and with tip included, I would have expected the bathrooms didn’t look like I was going into a gas station wash room with graffiti, and a very unclean toilet. I also expected the quality of the sushi to be better at the very least.
