Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse Introduce
In the thriving community of Woodinville, Washington, the concept of "Doctor Near Me" extends beyond healthcare to encompass local businesses that cater to specific needs, including the desire for engaging dining experiences. For those seeking culinary entertainment paired with a meal, Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse, located at 13317 NE 175th St # L, Woodinville, WA 98072, USA, presents itself as a relevant option. You can reach them at (425) 488-8786 or via mobile at +1 425-488-8786.
Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse is primarily known for its hibachi dining experience, where skilled chefs prepare meals directly at the table, offering a blend of culinary art and entertainment. This style of dining is often sought after for special occasions, family outings, or simply for a meal that offers more than just food. In the context of a "Doctor Near Me" for your dining desires, Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse provides a specific remedy: an interactive and theatrical approach to Japanese cuisine. An objective introduction requires acknowledging both its strengths, particularly its food and entertainment, as well as areas where patrons suggest improvements.
The environment of Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse is a significant aspect of the hibachi experience. It is described as an "average looking restaurant," indicating a functional rather than luxurious decor. However, there are clear suggestions for improvement. Feedback highlights a need for a "spruced up" appearance, including "some paint and decorations and better lighting." A more pressing concern raised by a customer is the visibility of "boxes and stuff stacked in full View in the back section," and the need to "clean up all the boxes and open the bar back up again or at least make it decent." This suggests that while the core hibachi tables provide the central focus, the peripheral areas of the restaurant might detract from the overall aesthetic and cleanliness. For a "Doctor Near Me" delivering a specialized service, the overall presentation of the facility can significantly impact the customer's perception of quality and care. Despite these observations, the core hibachi setup likely provides the expected dynamic and engaging atmosphere typical of such establishments.
The service at Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse receives mixed feedback, indicating variability depending on the staff member. While the "cooks are very good at what they do" – implying skilled and entertaining hibachi chefs – the "servers leave a little bit more to be desired depending on who you get." This suggests that while the main act of food preparation is excellent, the table service, such as taking orders, refilling drinks, or attending to specific needs, might be inconsistent. One customer noted that "The service was a bit slow." This is a crucial point for any dining establishment, as efficient and attentive service contributes significantly to overall customer satisfaction. Patrons looking for a comprehensive "Doctor Near Me" experience would expect consistent excellence across all service touchpoints. However, the positive remarks about the hibachi cooks are strong, suggesting that the primary entertainment and culinary delivery aspect is well-executed.
The key features of Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse revolve around its hibachi grill experience. The "food is good," with a particular emphasis on the "outstanding steak." This indicates that the quality of their core protein offerings, especially the steak, is a significant draw. The hibachi style means that customers witness the preparation of their meal firsthand, which is a major entertainment component. Dishes typically include a choice of protein (such as steak, chicken, shrimp, or scallops), served with fried rice, vegetables, and often a clear soup and salad. The interactive nature of the cooking, with chefs performing tricks and engaging diners, is a hallmark of this type of restaurant and a key feature that differentiates it from traditional sit-down Japanese eateries. While specific menu details weren't exhaustive in the reviews, the focus on "delicious" food and "outstanding steak" suggests a strong performance in these areas. The mention of "absolutely delicious" food, even with slow service, reinforces the quality of the culinary output. The humorous inclusion of a picture of "the actual cow" used to make the steak further emphasizes the perceived quality of the meat.
In terms of promotional information, Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse appears to rely heavily on the inherent appeal of the hibachi experience itself and word-of-mouth recommendations for its "good food" and "very good" cooks. However, there is a very important piece of "promotional" information that is crucial for potential diners: "it's important to mention that they charge an automatic 20% gratuity so you can go in knowing that and not get mad later on." This transparency, while delivered by a customer, acts as a vital heads-up for budgeting and avoiding surprises. While not a typical marketing incentive, it sets expectations regarding the total cost, which can influence a customer's decision. For a "Doctor Near Me" service, transparency in billing is as important as the service itself. Beyond this, the general positive feedback about the food and the entertainment provided by the chefs serve as informal promotions, encouraging repeat visits and new patrons seeking a fun and flavorful dining experience.
In conclusion, Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse in Woodinville, WA, serves as a local "Doctor Near Me" for those craving an engaging hibachi dining experience. Its core strengths lie in its "good food," particularly the "outstanding steak," and the entertaining skills of its hibachi cooks. The environment, while functional, could benefit from aesthetic improvements and better organization, as noted by customer feedback regarding visible clutter and the bar area. Service quality appears to be variable, with excellent cooks but potentially inconsistent table service, including slower periods. A key piece of information for all prospective diners is the automatic 20% gratuity. Despite these areas for improvement, the restaurant successfully delivers on the interactive and flavorful aspects of hibachi, making it a viable option for those prioritizing the culinary entertainment. For those seeking a lively meal with good food and a show, Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse offers a distinct experience in the Woodinville dining scene, provided one is aware of and comfortable with the noted aspects of its environment and service structure.

Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse Reviews
This is a great local place for hibachi. The food is good the cooks are very good at what they do. The servers leave a little bit more to be desired depending on who you get. And one recommendation would be to clean up all the boxes and open the bar back up again or at least make it decent. It's an average looking restaurant. it just needs to be spruced up with some paint and decorations and better lighting. Also picking up all the boxes and stuff stacked in full View in the back section. I'm surprised the owner isn't self-aware on this although he's a good guy. Also it's important to mention that they charge an automatic 20% gratuity so you can go in knowing that and not get mad later on
February 12 · Peter EAbsolutely delicious. The service was a bit slow, but outstanding steak. I included a picture of the actual cow that was used to make this fine steak. I've also added a picture of my cat, who clearly has a drinking problem.
August 06 · Baron SaturdayThis is a great place to bring the family or a large party. We celebrated my son’s birthday and it was a great experience. Our chef put on a great show and everyone had a great time.
May 13 · Sergio ColónI understand this place automatically charge 20% for tips. But when I saw my receipt, they calculated the tax first then charge 20% tips with food and tax together, this is disgusting. You were asking me to pay 20% extra for the tax and to you, I never see any restaurant calculate tips like this place. I am going to email revenue. I believe this is illegal.
April 26 · Mike Wanggreeted by the little old Asian man with Horrible service as soon as we walked in.I had made a reservation for 4 for 2 birthday dinners at 7pm, sent my elderly mothers in with my daughter while I parked. He wouldn’t seat them until I came in, and argued with me, even though the restaurant was half empty. Sat us at a table who had already had their starters, we didn’t receive starters until we asked for them, refills had to be asked for, and the experience just felt rushed. The food was the most underwhelming hibachi I’ve ever had. Unseasoned. Had to pour sauce all over it to taste anything.Oh and they have a mandatory 20% tip added to the check.Definitely do not recommend.
