Wasabi Japanese Restaurant Reviews
We were on the way to the airport and decided to stop for dinner and had the urge for sushi. Found this little jem on yelp and decided we needed to try it. It did not disappoint! The restaurant isn’t big but it’s big on flavor! The staff was very friendly and answered any questions that we had. we started out with the miso soup and we’re pleasantly surprised that it had seaweed added to it. Then we did the oyster shooter special. It was absolutely amazing! It had sake a raw oyster, a quail egg it was fabulous. We had three different rolls and every single one of them were great and then when we didn’t think we could eat anymore we ordered the fried cheesecake. Oh my gosh, it was so delicious. The entire meal was so very good. We sat at the bar and there was also table seating and seating outside. It would be a fun place to eat outside in the summer.
May 27, 2025 · Malinda CannonBest sushi in north carolina away from the beach and then put up a good fight. It cost a little but, I'd pay it again and again. Really love the food and plan to go back next time in asheville. A must have in asheville if you eat sushi.
Apr 03, 2025 · Dennis MurdockWasabi was super busy around 8, but we managed to squeeze in spots at the bar. Our waiter was super helpful with figuring out the menu, since there was a paper sheet and a binder. We ordered many things and got most of our food in less than ten minutes, which was great since we were both very hungry. Our rolls that we had ordered got overlooked, but once we asked, he brought them to us. Overall, definitely one of the better places for Japanese cuisine, especially downtown. If you’re looking for something quick and delicious, this is your place.
Aug 11, 2024 · Sydney MarkWe went here with a dog and had seating in a covered, heated area in front of the restaurant. The service was good, the food was fine - good and as expected but nothing special. The atmosphere was a bit cold because the sliding door to the sidewalk was open. I have no big complaints or praises about this place. If you have a dog with you, this is a good stop if you're craving sushi.
Apr 19, 2025 · AmandaEvery time we come here we are greeted so pleasantly and the food is consistently good! The staff is all great, but Drew always goes the extra mile, is SO kind, and I am always excited when she’s our waitress. No matter how busy it is, we’re always attended to, the food comes out fast, and they don’t rush us. Thank you!
