Wasan Brooklyn Reviews
We came for an late lunch. The food is amazing as well as the services. I would give a 6-star if I can. When are sat down, the lunch menu was still served. As soon as I saw "Croquette" is served, I know this is an authentic Japanese restaurant. This is one item that I only typically see in a Japanese-owned Japanese restaurant. The waitress confirmed it for us. She is so sweet and friendly. After my wife placed her order, she actually suggested a different way to order the same set and we loved it! The way the sushi rice was prepared is so authentic, the Croquette was delicious! I ordered Nabeyaki Udon noodle, the best I ever had. The experience brought our memory back to a Japanese restaurant in Victoria Island Canada, one of the best we visited. The item prices also surprised us, the could be more expansive for sure. A bottle of Sapporo Beer was only $4, I will definitely come back!
Dec 17, 2024 · David LeeThe tempura vegetables are the best!! Coming in hot and crispy on the outside with high quality veggies on the inside. Also enjoyed the tonkusu ramen which had a slices of very well flavored pork and a tasty broth. The only thing I wish they had was a jammy egg instead of regular hard boiled. Service was terrific!
Nov 23, 2024 · Isabelle JiI love these guys. Was supposed to post this a while ago but I got time now. We originally were in the area just in passing and stumbled upon it. I must say the owner and staff are very friendly, food is really tasty and flavorful. Will definitely be stopping by again. Would recommend to others. We ordered a bit of everything and it didn't disappoint.
Oct 17, 2024 · Trevor MarshallWhile the other items available for lunch seemed good I couldn't help but try the Wagyu Beef Curry Rice. The beef was tender and the curry sauce was flavorful. It was more expensive than the other lunch specials so one should only order of they are curious. With its close proximity to the Barclay Center its easy to get here.
Jul 26, 2024 · Leonardo TorresLegit, authentic, and damn good Japanese food! Lunch specials (11:30-4 everyday) are good value. They currently have (for a limited time) a special dessert (matcha pudding) in collaboration with a tea master, and it's excellent!
