Hotto Hotto Ramen & Teppanyaki Reviews
Unfortunately this restaurant was one of the biggest disappointments. Food wasn’t very good and service was friendly but not quick. Our spicy chicken karaage didn’t taste very “made from scratch” at all - tasted like frozen packaged karaage that was drowned in a sweet spicy sauce. Too salty for our taste but was probably the best thing we had today.Hotto tonkotsu ramen noodles were overcooked (more about this later) with a very bland flavor and not plated with any care at all. Where was the garlic tare we see in pictures? The roasted seaweed was completely soggy when we got the ramen as well.Omurice - well, at least the rice was half decent. The egg had a few crunchy bits which I assume were egg shells. The “spicy mayo” didn’t taste like spicy mayo at all, more of a sweet yuzu jam.The plates we were given for our appetizers had black dusty bits all over it which put us off as well. We also witnessed a waitress peeling eggs while eating her food and coughing using her personal phone (no gloves or hand washing in between). This put us off big time.We witnessed my wife’s ramen being ready and sitting under a hot lamp for 5 minutes until my omurice was ready which lead to overcooked noodles and soggy seaweed. We took a few bites of our mains and took it home (unfortunately we won’t be eating them). Hopefully this is a one-off experience for us and everyone else has better experiences here.
April 15 · Katsu ItoRecommended by a friend, we decided to give it a try. Wow! The bao buns were amazing. We also enjoyed pork potstickers and ramen. The spicy shaved ribeye ramen bowl was delicious. Our server, Dana helped us to make our first visit choices. The atmosphere is very artsy and upbeat. I highly recommend.
April 05 · Jessica LawhornThis place and especially the food is always great and really yummy. We had Ramen soup and a fried rice, they make delicious cocktails too that you can sip outside at the bar or at your table. The staff is very friendly and nice. When you go there you definitely have to try their Ramen soups. The portions are huge so you can always take the rest home for a next day lunch.
May 13 · Urs SteinerOMG, this Ramen was so good. We also got appetizers, the dumplings were impeccable! Make sure you order them! And dessert was everything just amazing. Chefs Kiss! I would highly recommend it was a great price rate as well 10/10.
October 21 · Arielle AntoinetteMusic bingo was cool. Got a win on that.I’ve had better ramen than what I ordered. Noodles were sub par. Broth was ok.
