Ikiiki Sushi Restaurant (NOW TOMA SUSHI) Introduce
In the heart of Kenmore, Washington, a culinary destination known as Toma Sushi, formerly Ikiiki Sushi Restaurant, stands out as a beacon for Japanese cuisine enthusiasts. Situated at 6512 NE Bothell Way, Kenmore, WA 98028, USA, this establishment offers a delightful escape for those seeking fresh, flavorful sushi and a welcoming atmosphere. While the platform category "Doctor Near Me" typically pertains to healthcare services, for individuals looking to rejuvenate their senses and satisfy their cravings for authentic Japanese flavors, Toma Sushi can be considered a "Doctor Near Me" for their culinary well-being, providing a comforting and enjoyable dining experience.
The environment at Toma Sushi is consistently praised for its inviting and relaxing ambiance. Customers describe it as having a "really nice" and "relaxing vibe that makes you want to stay longer." This suggests a thoughtfully designed space that encourages diners to unwind and savor their meal. The mention of a "cool wall sculpture" in the back bar area further hints at an attention to detail in the decor, contributing to an aesthetically pleasing and comfortable setting. This makes it an ideal spot not only for casual dining but also for more intimate occasions, such as an "impromptu date night," as one happy customer noted. The relaxed atmosphere fosters a sense of tranquility, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the culinary experience.
The services at Toma Sushi are characterized by efficiency, friendliness, and attention to detail. One of the most frequently lauded aspects is the "impressively low" wait time, which significantly enhances the overall dining experience, especially for those with limited time. This commitment to prompt service ensures that even during busy periods, customers can expect a timely and efficient meal. Beyond speed, the "friendly staff" consistently adds to the positive experience, making diners feel welcomed and valued. This combination of efficiency and genuine hospitality contributes to a seamless and enjoyable visit. Customers can also reach the restaurant via phone at (425) 486-9441 or +1 425-486-9441 for reservations or inquiries, ensuring convenient access to their services.
Toma Sushi's features are primarily centered around its high-quality, fresh ingredients and diverse menu offerings. The sushi, as highlighted by a customer who enjoyed "Sushi Combo B," is described as "perfect - fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor." This emphasis on freshness and artistic presentation elevates the dining experience, showcasing the chefs' skill and dedication. Beyond sushi, the menu extends to include other delectable Japanese and Asian-inspired dishes, such as the "great" Panang curry. This variety ensures that there's something to appeal to diverse tastes, making it a versatile choice for different groups and preferences. The availability of a "good variety" during happy hour is another attractive feature, providing an opportunity for customers to sample different items at a potentially more economical price point. The restaurant's ability to create a setting suitable for a spontaneous date night, as well as a general fantastic dining experience, speaks to its adaptability and broad appeal.
The culinary offerings at Toma Sushi are a significant draw. The "fresh" and "flavor-packed" sushi is undoubtedly a star, demonstrating a commitment to quality raw ingredients and expert preparation. The "beautifully presented" dishes suggest that visual appeal is as important as taste, enhancing the overall enjoyment of the meal. The inclusion of Panang curry on the menu indicates a broader Asian culinary influence, catering to those who might also appreciate Thai flavors alongside their sushi. This diversification adds depth to the menu and allows the restaurant to cater to a wider array of palates. The success of the "Sushi Combo B" suggests that curated combinations are a popular and well-executed option for diners who prefer a variety of pieces.
From a promotional perspective, the consistent positive feedback from customers serves as the most powerful form of advertisement. The declaration "Definitely coming back!" and "Definitely worth a visit!" by satisfied patrons are invaluable endorsements. The "good variety" offered during happy hour is a direct promotional incentive, encouraging guests to visit during specific times and explore new menu items. The inviting atmosphere, particularly suitable for an "impromptu date night," naturally promotes the restaurant as a desirable social destination. While specific discount campaigns or loyalty programs aren't explicitly mentioned, the inherent value derived from fresh, flavorful food, excellent service, and a relaxing ambiance acts as a strong draw for repeat business and word-of-mouth recommendations. The evolution from "Ikiiki Sushi Restaurant" to "Toma Sushi" also indicates a potential rebranding or enhancement of their offerings, which can also generate renewed interest from the community. The presence of the phone number, (425) 486-9441 or +1 425-486-9441, is a constant invitation for new and returning customers to engage with the restaurant.
In conclusion, Toma Sushi (formerly Ikiiki Sushi Restaurant) in Kenmore, Washington, is a highly recommended destination for anyone seeking a premium Japanese dining experience. While it falls under the "Doctor Near Me" category for those seeking a culinary cure, it truly excels in providing a delightful and satisfying meal. Its combination of a wonderfully relaxing environment, impressively efficient and friendly service, and a menu featuring fresh, beautifully presented, and flavorful sushi, alongside other delectable dishes like Panang curry, creates a truly memorable visit. Whether you're looking for a quick, fresh lunch or an intimate date night, Toma Sushi offers a consistently positive experience that encourages diners to return and recommend it to others. I had a fantastic experience at this sushi restaurant! Sushi Combo B was perfect - fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The wait time was impressively low, making the dining experience even better. The atmosphere is really nice, with a relaxing vibe that makes you want to stay longer. Definitely coming back!
Feb 16, 2025 · Andrii KulieshovHad a great time at Toma, this time exploring their back bar. The relaxed setting, with a cool wall sculpture, was perfect for an impromptu date night. Happy hour had a good variety, and the Panang curry was great. The friendly staff added to the experience. Definitely worth a visit!
Jan 05, 2025 · Steven MoosI've been here twice and both times the rolls have been great! We also tried the chicken pad thai and orange chicken - both were good but nothing out of the ordinary. I would spend money on the rolls instead. The noise level is low and we were seated immediately on both occasions.
May 30, 2023 · Jessica CarvalhoI highly recommend the ikiiki roll (smoked salmon and mango! Rarest flavor combo I have ever found!) and the crab Rangoon (there is no skimping on the crab for these babies!) Beautiful underwater decor for dining. Clean and excellent, friendly service. Sam is the best sushi chef!
Jun 15, 2023 · Courtinay HomannAfter many years of driving past this spot we decided to give it a shot. Great location, plenty of free parking, and decent food. We ordered two rolls I've never had before, 1) Golden Dragon and 2) Double Tuna Roll - both were delish. Our only complaint was the selection of music that was playing. Very very odd for an Asian restaurant.
