Lil' Ramen Tatsu-Ya Reviews
Ramen for Ants! Devastatingly small portions. I felt like a raccoon who washed away his cotton candy looking for more substance. The chashu, service, and wait-time were all great though.
August 18 · Dan ReeseBussssssssSize was good for my cute petite stomach. It was puurfect
August 26 · LILYI love Ramen Tatsuya but do not go this location.I got a a to go order and they gave me like half or maybe 30% of thr actual broth i get at the location up north.Unacceptable.
August 30 · William BassI was so excited when I saw that this ramen shop pop up on Guad! I think this was a chicken place before. Anyways, my coworker and I decided to try it out.Be warned that there is no dining inside. The inside part of this place is the kitchen and that’s it. So you walk up to the window in the front to order and then you pick up your drink and ramen at the windows on the side. They do have a lot of patio seating though and they do a good job of keeping it cool with the giant fans they have so I never felt too hot. Be sure to have a hair band with you though if you have long hair so it doesn’t fly into the ramen. My coworker got her order well before I got mine. I think there was a mix up in the kitchen or something. I got the Mi-So-Not Ramen and Strawberry Yuzu Lemonade. The lemonade was SO good but they don’t do refills. They do refills on soda though. The ramen was absolutely delicious! I’ve been to their location on South Lamar and it was just as good. The only difference with this Lil' Ramen Tatsu-Ya is that the menu is more limited. I asked for a friend if they have gluten free options and the only thing on their small menu that’s gluten free is the Edamame.I also need to shout out the employees here. They were awesome! Very attentive and nice. The only negatives for me were 1) the fact that there’s no inside seating, and 2) the prices are really high for dining on Guad. Over $20 bucks for lunch is hard to rationalize. Also, I didn’t even check to see if this place had a bathroom or not. If it doesn’t, that would also be a negative for me personally. All in all, I think this is a great addition to the food scene on this side of campus. Next time I will probably order to go if that’s an option. And I’ll be back when the weather is colder for sure.
