Mura Shabu Shabu Reviews
Pretty good shabu for the area. I think it's a bit expensive for what you get, and unlike other Shabu places the veggies aren't unlimited (although the workers said they'd hook us up). I don't think the sauce is as good as others like Mokojji either. But there's not many other options in the Corona area, the meat and broth is good, and the service was attentive as well.
Jul 07, 2024 · Stanley FuLocated in craving food court this is one of the worst shabu experiences I have ever had. So many things that make it unbearable. First off the distance between the pot and seat is ridiculously far making it odd reaching to cook ur food. Could be like 4 or 5 inches closer. Ponzu and sesame sauce tastes off, the wagyu rib eye which they charge $39for 6oz is actually a good usda select or a poor usda choice. I get it most uncultured people won't even know the difference and operating costs are expensive esp when there are hardly any customers. Doesn't mean restaurants should deceive their customers. They also cut the meat too thick, great for kbbq but not for shabu. Their Bonito stock tastes like sukiyaki, odd that they don't do a kelp stock for shabu.Another thing to mention is they didn't even offer or ask If we wanted water. Literally had to ask, not too much to ask for a little decent service in a restaurant when we are the only customers. I will 100% never be returning. I can clearly see why no one dines at this restaurant. Literally 1 other couple came in when we were finishing up. If you go to a good shabu restaurant like California shabu in Costa Mesa, you will clearly know how bad Mura is.Check the pic and tell me if you see some prime wagyu ribeye lol.
Jan 29, 2024 · Tony ShidoWent on a Tuesday, service was amazing. Felt like we were being catered too. Happy to see more spots like this as they are limited in the area. Great portions so you can try more food!!!
Jul 03, 2024 · Edson MirandaThe Food was good, but the place is stingy and you don't get the value you can get from other places. I couldn't get both rice and noodles as I was told it's one or the other and Veggies were a poor showing. Speaking on the veggies, I got 3 small leaves of bok choy, 4 pieces of lettuce, 2 tofu, 4 small mushrooms, a slice of squash and that was it.I think i'll be going to another shabu place if i'm craving it again in the future as it was not a good value.
Sep 17, 2024 · Tim HingerThis place is a no goThe food servings are ridiculously small the quality of the meat is bad and its very pricey.
