For Floridians seeking an unparalleled Japanese culinary experience, Queen Omakase in Miami Beach stands as a beacon of luxury, artistry, and exclusivity. This isn't just a meal; it's a meticulously curated journey designed to engage all the senses. Tucked within the elegant Queen Miami Beach venue, Queen Omakase offers a unique blend of traditional Japanese craftsmanship and modern culinary innovation, making it a premier destination for connoisseurs and those celebrating special moments.
At the heart of Queen Omakase is the omakase experience itself, a 14-course gastronomic adventure where guests entrust their dining to the esteemed Chef Kamakura. With 23 years of experience and a unique blend of Japanese and German heritage, Chef Kamakura brings a distinctive modernist approach to timeless Japanese traditions. He meticulously curates an ever-evolving tasting menu, featuring the freshest seasonal ingredients, often flown in directly from Japan's Toyosu Market. Each dish is a testament to precise techniques and artistic presentation, transforming high-quality ingredients into a symphony of flavors and textures.
Beyond the exquisite dining, Queen Omakase offers a truly unique opportunity for aspiring sushi chefs and enthusiasts: their Omakase Cooking Class. This intimate and hands-on class provides an engaging way to learn the secrets of sushi making from Chef Kamakura himself. Participants not only have fun learning various rolls and techniques but also gain a deeper appreciation for the intricate art of sushi, complete with high-quality ingredients and a personalized experience. Whether you're coming for an unforgettable dinner or to hone your culinary skills, Queen Omakase promises an experience that exceeds expectations, blending luxury with a genuine passion for Japanese cuisine.

Washington Avenue is a well-known thoroughfare, ensuring straightforward navigation for those driving.
Accessibility for guests is a priority. Valet parking is available at the front entrance, adding a layer of convenience, especially in a busy area like South Beach where street parking can be challenging. For those utilizing public transportation, the nearest public transit stop is located at 5th Street and Washington Ave, providing an alternative means of access. This deliberate design enhances the sense of exclusivity and intimacy for diners.

Queen Omakase distinguishes itself through several unique features and highlights, contributing to its reputation as a premier Japanese dining destination:
- Esteemed Chef Max Kamakura: The culinary genius behind the experience, Chef Kamakura, boasts 23 years of experience and a unique Japanese-Brazilian heritage. His modernist approach, blending traditional techniques with innovative flavors and ingredients from around the globe, is a significant highlight.
- Exclusive 14-Course Omakase Menu: The meticulously curated 14-course tasting menu is a constantly evolving masterpiece, with new selections introduced frequently (e.g., every few weeks or every two months). This ensures each visit offers a fresh and surprising culinary journey.
- Directly Sourced Premium Ingredients: A core principle is the use of the freshest, highest-quality ingredients, with fish air-shipped from Japan's Toyosu Market multiple times a week. This commitment to superior sourcing elevates the taste and authenticity of each dish.
- Intimate and Luxurious Ambiance: Located within the historic Paris Theater, the omakase room is designed for exclusivity. It features an elegant black Calacatta onyx-adorned bar, custom Italian Bamboo Forest wallpaper, and a 1970s glass-blown Murano chandelier, creating a glamorous and sophisticated setting.
- Unique Sushi Cooking Class: Beyond dining, the interactive Omakase Cooking Class allows guests to learn sushi-making directly from Chef Kamakura, providing a fun, informative, and memorable experience with tangible takeaways like gifts and Polaroids.
- Personalized Service and Chef Interaction: The small, exclusive seating (often 8 guests) allows for direct interaction with the chef, fostering a personal connection and an enhanced appreciation for the artistry involved.
- Integrated into Queen Miami Beach: While intimate, it benefits from being part of the larger Queen Miami Beach venue, which offers a full lounge experience, adding to the overall sophisticated nightlife and dining appeal.
Queen Omakase, being a high-end, exclusive establishment, focuses more on providing a premium experience rather than regular discounts. However, there are specific offerings and potential avenues for unique experiences:
- Omakase Cooking Class: Priced at $165 per person (as of recent information), this class can be considered a unique offering or "special experience" rather than a discount. It provides significant value by allowing guests to learn a new skill from a master chef, complete with champagne and souvenirs.
- Seasonal Menu Changes: While not a discount, the omakase menu itself evolves frequently (e.g., every two months or three weeks), ensuring that repeat guests always have a "new" experience with fresh, seasonal ingredients. This acts as an ongoing culinary highlight.
- Prepaid Reservations: Both the omakase dining experience ($225-$275 per person, depending on the source and specific menu) and the cooking class are prepaid, ensuring commitment and efficiency for the high-demand, limited-seating events.
- Potential Partnerships: While not explicitly stated, high-end establishments sometimes partner with luxury hotel concierges or exclusive membership programs for unique benefits. It's always worth checking with your concierge if staying at a high-end hotel in Miami Beach.
For the most current details on offerings and pricing, it is highly recommended to visit Queen Omakase's official website or contact them directly. Due to its exclusive nature and focus on fine dining, traditional "promotions" like happy hour or percentage discounts are less common.

Queen Omakase Reviews
I've always wanted to learn how to make sushi and so I booked their Omakase Cooking class for my brother and I. They exceeded my expectations! We had so much fun learning how to make the different types of rolls and the various names of each. All of the ingredients were high quality and well prepped. The chefs were friendly and very informative about each step, explaining the reasoning behind each ingredient and technique. We even went home with some gifts and a Polaroid as a keepsake/souvenir. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn how to craft their own sushi rolls at home either for their own enjoyment or as a hosting party trick
