Toku Japanese and Asian Cuisine Reviews
(This review is for a delivery order, so it's only about the food, not the service or ambiance).Solid takeout sushi. I was desperately craving sushi on evening and, after perusing Uber Eats for a bit, settled on Toku after receiving a recommendation from a friend. I got their sushi combo, which came with ten assorted pieces of nigiri and a California roll, as well as my choice of miso soup or salad. The sushi was super fresh, and I appreciated the variety of fish chosen for the nigiri; I didn't care much for the California roll and would have loved the option to switch it out with a different roll, but it's perfectly reasonable for them to not allow those types of swaps. It was a solid meal and absolutely satisfied by sushi craving.
January 04 · Sonya HuFriendly fast service and tasty food.I built my own poke bowl and it was perfect! If I make it back to that party of DC I will stop in again :)
November 02 · Magda EspositoVery cheap and affordable sushi, FINALLY found a spot!!!Don’t pay attention to the google maps picture, it looks completely different! It’s located below a weed store and close to the McDonald’s.Anyway, I got the veggie garden sushi dinner. It was pretty delicious and came with a free miso soup. In total, I got three veggie rolls and miso soup for $15.What a steal ;)Looking forward to trying some more food!
March 19 · Lizzy AmiranaThis review is based solely on their happy hour. I stopped by the other day with some friends and we ordered their $1 nigiri and a couple of apps. Everything was delicious, fresh and came out really quickly. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for HH or Asian fusion in general
