Wabi Sabi Reviews
Atmosphere was ambient, chill, and with good music. A great casual date spot away from the hustle and bustle of Blue Back. The food was also great! We loved the Pork Gyoza. The chicken bacon and pork belly skewers were good. We also had two rice bowls, the Fried Pork Katsu and the Kaisen Don. They were both amazing. Would definitely recommend!!!Servers were so nice and very attentive!Kaisen Don pictured
March 09 · Avery SantosEverything was phenomenal. We tried two appetizers- bacon wrapped chicken thighs and the octopus balls - both were AMAZING, also ordered the sashimi plate, and a noodle entree. Everything was great - vibe and restaurant atmosphere was on point. Server Jason was fantastic. Will come again!
March 29 · Madison BaileyAs soon as I entered the restaurant I loved the vibes. So chill and not loud at all. we ordered the shrimp tempura don which was so so delicious!!! It also came with Miso soup which was a great start before the main course and especially in the cold weather. Loved the place, service and the food. I will definitely come back!!
February 06 · Yasmin NeyshaburiWe dined for dinner on a relaxing Sunday. The staff was friendly and helpful to us and the other customers. We ordered the grilled octopus skewers which were awesome. They had the flavor from the grill and were cooked perfectly so they were not dry nor tough. They were my favorite. We also had red clam nigiri, shrimp tempura don, and yakiudon. All were great and there were alot of interesting cocktails.Update: We have been back to Wabi Sabi three times and everything has been excellent. The staff is great and chatting at the bar was interesting to hear about the cocktails. Also the first time I didn't notice the chili powder and it was a great addition to some of our food choices.
November 16 · Michael CipolloneI normally only give 5 star reviews, but this was a pretty annoying experience.I asked for the sushi rolls. They came out in full un-cut rolls (menu does not specify “hand-rolls”). I asked about this, they said “it’s how they are”. They said they can get me a knife if I want to cut it, but only have butter knives. I asked them to take it back to the kitchen and cut it like regular sushi. …They then put it back on my table, cut once in the middle without even asking if it’s ok.Drinks took forever to get to us, and then I had to get up and find the waiter to get the bill after asking for it and waiting over 7 mins (it was not busy at all).My first time here was great. I don’t know what happened this time, but yikes.
